Diner with the classic comfort food you’d expect. Some areas updated but a little out-dated, which is probably part of the charms of a downtown diner. Restaurant was clean, staff friendly and attentive, and has a local following with regulars. I had B&G with perfectly done over-easy eggs and crispy hashbrowns. Breakfast was very generous portions for a reasonable price and made to order.
***As others pointed out- this place does not accept credit or debit cards....

Disappointing lunchI saw the Monty Cristo on the menu and was excited to order it . What a disappointment. Two pieces of French toast (looked like they came from a box) with a slice of deli ham and Velveeta cheese.We are here a few weeks ago and loved our breakfast.It's an old fashion dinner. Guess I just have to order old fashion food. I want to like the place and try again.

The service is super friendly and the portions are more than enough, you won't leave this place hungry! The only thing I wish would have been more notice on the no debit/credit card, and ended up not being able to leave a tip due to lack of excess cash on hand. I even looked on Google and on the windows of the restaurant and didn't see anything indicating they would not be accepting cards. Otherwise, best cafe I've been to in years and will definitely return, more...
