Soup was watered down chemical taste, ranch was strange tasting, the place smells like an old bookstore.. we will never be back again! $145 for the worst dining experience I’ve had in a long time. The flies!! My god there were so many flies! All over us, our food, everywhere. Went there for my girlfriend’s birthday last night. Lovely food, good service….but they have to stop these damn flies.

The setting here is beautiful. Over looks the lake. I have never been disappointed by the food. The bar up front makes it an easy stop for a drink and an app.

Food is far too expensive for the quality. Limited sides come with the entree- soup or salad. Steaks were OK, nothing to write home about. Save a ton of money and seek another restaurant.

We enjoyed the rooster sandwich and the burger. The salad was excellent as well. The service was top notch.
Our server Jaycee was excellent. Our drinks were mixed to perfection. My filet mignon was superb and husband's baseball steak fantastic, as always. Table mates had walleye which they said was very delicious. You can count on consistency from beginning to end at The Fireside. Love it!
