5 stars to the service, drinks, and atmosphere. Great table with great views. Amazing drinks from the bar and our server was sweet and attentive. Our cups never ran empty.We ordered the cauliflower appetizer, which was the best part of the meal. Unfortunately the steaks were subpar at best. I wouldn’t blame the cooks, it was bad meat. For a filet, mine was dry. Husbands ribeye was questionable. He believes he received a different cut and the size was not close to 16 oz. His steak was over done for a medium rare, mine was underdone for a medium.The Yukon potatoes were satisfying. But dessert was also half decent. Crème brûlée was cold when it reached the table and the chocolate tart cake was extremely dry. You could tell it was pulled out of a freezer or fridge 5 min before serving.The price for everything other than those steaks and desserts were justified. But I’ve had better $12 sirloins from a Texas Roadhouse. Don’t go for the steaks.

Got together with friends for a celebration dinner. Our server was great. Nice happy hour, the shrimp cocktail was excellent. One of their specials was a Weller tasting flight. They also offered a Pappy flight. I had the filet which was a perfect medium and an old fashioned. Highly recommend.

Best food and drinks I've ever had and beautiful view of the lake! The Perry's Manhattan was the owner/our servers recommendation which him created in dedication to his father and it was incredible, never had a drink like that in my life!

We were seated early, our server warmly greeted us and asked about beverages, relishes arrived promptly, salads and main course arrived as we finished salads, inquiry about first bites...a wonderful dining experience....as always!
Food was good however the cost of sides was a little much considering what they were. Disappointed that sides did not come with my steak. Steak was perfect though. Celebrated our anniversary with dinner here but the server didn't ask if we came for a special occasion or anything and that was expected since the way we made our reservation, we were asked if we were coming for a special occasion. But nothing was said about that when we were there.

We loved this restaurant! You begin with a small vegetable tray with olives and pickles. The waitress was sweet, helpful, attentive and provided great service. We each got a salad. I upgraded mine to a wedge salad. It could've been a meal. It was so delicious. My husband had the prime rib (Saturday nights) and I had the chicken parmesan. We both loved what we got! We also had the crème brûlée. It was perfect. We will come again!

Talk about price gouging. If you're looking for a pricey, mediocre dining experience with a great view this place is for you! As a long time customer (family has been coming here for over 50 years) It's such a disappointment and an insult. Prices are San Francisco level but the food is basic and medium quality.

First, we love The Fireside (visit not as often as we should). However, our last experience was not up to par. We believe the wait staff sets the tone of an experience. This night our's was neither welcoming nor helpful when asked questions. For the most part our food was good but not exceptional. My Caesar salad w/anchovies that had excess anchovy oil for some reason. As always the ambiance is very relaxing, even with a full dining room. Of course we'll return; it is normally fantastic. Hopefully next time things will be back to the normal experiences we've had in the past.
