Dilworth Hi-Ho Burgers & Brews

I was recommended this place by a good friend, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I ordered a California Burger and a Deluxe Burger with bacon. While both the server and cook were friendly and polite, the food itself was unacceptable.

The burger patties and fries tasted like they came straight from the freezer, the bacon was burnt to a crisp, and both buns were overcooked. The lettuce on both burgers was brown, mushy, and clearly past its prime — I had to remove it entirely. The restaurant’s dim lighting might hide these issues, but it doesn’t excuse serving produce in that condition.

To make matters worse, I actually felt sick afterward, which says a lot about the quality. Spending nearly $30 for two poorly made burgers with burnt bacon and spoiled toppings was extremely disappointing. I genuinely wanted to like this place, but I won’t be returning anytime soon.

I genuinely rate this place a solid 3 out of 10. Which makes me sad because the cook himself was such a gentleman that seemed to enjoy his job.

Amazing place through the years! Burgers, fries and the onion rings are the best! We like both dine in and takeout. The staff are great, friendly and fast. The bar has charm and is a great place to hang out.

Hi-Ho is a favorite at our house for many reasons. The food is always good and is reasonably priced, they dont skimp on fries, and the atmosphere is like nowhere else. We are regulars and the people there treat us like family. We regularly order take out and stop by to eat in when we can.

Lady making the food got an attitude. All I did was ask about my pick up order one time hadn’t even told them I was here until then and she was rude about it.
