We came in today (march 21) for dosa night. We waited several minutes for water and to place our order. Then, we waited around to ask server for napkins and eventually grabbed some from the next table. The Mysore masala dosa was extremely bland and didn’t have much salt either. There was hardly any chutney also. Potatoes also lacked any salt or flavor. Flagged down the server for some chutney and he said he’d come back but we finished our meal and there was still no extra chutney.Place was pretty busy and there were only two servers and they were running around. Had to flag one of the guys again to ask for the bill. Nobody asked us how our food was. Service is nonexistent.Bay Leaf - Perhaps hire more staff so customers are not sitting around waiting infinitely for their items and check! And talk to your chef because food quality has declined again. Disappointing and will not be returning because this is not the first time this has happened.

Very bad Indian Vegetarian Buffet Lunch. No options for vegetarians.

I went for dosa night, I would say you get what you pay for. Don't expect much chutneys were diluted dosa was so thin that it would have need alot of oil for it to be cooked without breaking. Sambar was pretty much closer to dal then sambar. The two stars for service and chicken ( I got chicken dosa) otherwise I would have given zero or negative. Not going again definitely.

My wife and I were very hungry. We thought let's do bay leaf. We went with pepper chicken, palak paneer and pakoras. Wow! I just finished now and I do not regret it one bit. It was extremely satisfying. I still have some pakoras left which I'm savoring for later. The service is always friendly and nice. We also like to do the weekend buffets which is also amazing! Great job chef and bay leaf!!

My wife and I had Bay Leaf cater our wedding. We had a mix of Indian and European-American guests, who all gave glowing reviews of the food.

Had buffet today. Rock hard Vada’s and fermented chutney, and the more you dig into other foods, the more you regret. Total waste of money!

Place is disgusting. You drive around back of their business and their grease trap is the overfilled and spilling out all over the street. Avoid this

Excellent authentic Indian cuisine. I had the weekend buffet and it had a lot of options to chose from: butter chicken, tandoori chicken, goat curry, rashmali, kheer, naan, chai and others. They were all mouth wateringly delicious! The lamb curry was perfectly seasoned. The spiciness scale at Bayleaf was accurate: I chose spicy and that tasted great. You have to go visit the restaurant 3 or 4 times before you can taste it all! Nice cozy atmosphere too.Parking: Free strip mall parkingWheelchair accessibility: Ground level building. Plenty of designated handicapped parking spaces available.

The food was bland! Good location and service. They have a buffet on the weekend but don't think it's worth it

Post-Covid Review: Quality issues with food, Every other order has issues. Watery sauces, separated sauces, tasteless butter chicken or tikka masala. Rubbery and tasteless garlic naan, overcooked or over-spicyed samosas. Restaurant service not great, very slow and inattentive to customers. After trying every few months to see if they have improved I have given up on Bay Leaf and will seek other restaurants.OLD REVIEW, pre covid: I've been going to Bay Leaf (formerly India Zyka) for years, with friends and family. I will not say they are perfect (nothing can be perfect,) but they are consistent in providing me good food (I'm partial to the Butter Chicken, as low spice as the chef can go,) the naan, and bhatura, gulab jamun, and other dishes. The staff have always been courteous, and I understand that English isn't always their first language - but the dozens and dozens of times I've been there have all been pleasant.I wish I could eat more in one sitting, because the buffet (in non-pandemic times) is an immensely enjoyable affair.
