Cute decor, especially like the lights that flash to the music! Plenty of space and in a strip mall so plenty of parking. Service was decent although I think only two other tables of people at the time we were there. Onto the food and drink- I had the house margarita in the rocks. Was decent but a little overly sweet for me. You get chips and salsa when you sit down. They were good but bit many chips in the basket. Asked for more and noticed a $2.00 charge on our bill for those. Husband had chicken fajitas and I had a burrito. Both were fine. Nothing special and not super flavorful. Ordered the churros for dessert and there is no way they were fresh. Bummer as we love a good churro! Would not go out of my way to return but if you are in the area and looking for standard MN Mexican fare it will do the trick.

Wasn't too busy, food came out fast and fresh. Order some street tacos and tamales. These were some of the best street tacos i have found. The tamale was very delicious as well, wasn't to dry, and had a good filling ratio. The barbacoa tacos were my favorite, then the alpastor. The chicken taco was great as well. Prices are pretty good as well. The tacos are packed with meat, well worth it. This will definitely be my go-to place to eat when shopping at the outlet mall.

Amazing food for a place in the mall. Birria tacos were 9/10 good. Torta also super yummy. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall a good experience. Food came out quickly. Would eat there again.

What I liked: - good food at a good price. - good strong margaritas! - good location by the highway. I came here because this company was listed on the American Airline Dining club. However they must have dropped out as I did not get AAD credits

Never recommend this, the “asada fries” as topically a bunch of fries full of topping and flavor, this is trash honestly, I been to several places where they asada fries are so full and this ones are so bad for almost 14 dollars ??? WHAT IS THIS please save ur money and time ??

They had my interest at street tacos but my initial expectation were stunted by being in an outlet food court. Let me just say the service was awesome, friendly and sincere, and the food was amazing and modestly priced. I tried three flavors of street taco: alpastor, steak, and grilled shrimp. They were all amazing and I’d be hard pressed saying which was my favorite. Diamond in the rough street tacos! We will be back. Probably tomorrow!

Being in an out-of-the-way strip mall, we never noticed Cielito Lindo before, and now we're sad that we've missed out on the past 5 years of their great Mexican food! The first thing we noticed when we entered the restaurant is that it was spotlessly clean. We were met immediately and a basket of chips and salsa arrived quickly. The chips were hot, and the salsa tasty. The music wasn't too loud, so we were able to have a nice conversation waiting for the food. I ordered enchiladas verdes, and they were really good; not greasy. The ingredients were fresh. We may not have noticed them before, but they're on the list now. We'll be back.
If you want old school delicious Mexican fare, please support this place! Everything tasted scratch made using grammas recipes. Shrimp tacos very good. Chimis great. Will be back soon!

The BEST Mexican restaurant in the Twin Cities. Food cooked as you order. No coming back with your food in 4 minutes. Great atmosphere. Looked like another strip mall Mexican restaurant but incredibly good. Entertainment very fun on the nights they have it. Been there 4 times in a month but trying not to burn it out! Don’t expect fast service but an enjoyable atmosphere to relax and have some beer and chips/salsa.Vegetarian options: SeveralParking: No problemo

When you keep coming back because of the flavor of the food. We get the chicken fajita quesadillas every time. Friendly staff and pretty quick food. It's a food court, so what do you expect for ambiance?
