Food is amazing and I keep coming back, just wish online ordering didn't randomly become unavailable at times. It's just often way more convenient to order ahead for pickup vs pacing around in the gas station for 30 minutes. Just makes me likely to choose a different option where I don't have to kill half an hour waiting inside for takeout

This is the best restaurant in Eagan, hands down. It takes gas station food to an incomparable level. If you haven’t been, go now!

Good food, good service but lack the magic of a true taqueria which are the magic ingredients spicy salsas, limes, onions,, good seating .I encourage the owner to change location so his business moves to a different

The food was amazing and the staff was really friendly!! Massive food portions so you get your moneys worth! Found this through TikTok! Gave it a 4* because the BP it’s in is falling apart and smelled like piss. Again, not their fault! Just the state of the BP they’re located in.

Found El Sazon by way of TikTok so we decided to stop by to try it out. The food was good, but I would say it was lacking slightly in flavor to remember that taste. When we ordered, there was a sign that said it would take over half an hour for your order, so we were prepared to just dine-in. There are a few tables inside the gas station available for you to use. The staff was friendly and got our order out when it was ready. The bathrooms are managed by the gas station, but I would recommend not using them haha.

I’ve been hearing a lot about El Sazon on social media. But, who hasn’t? I happened to be in the southeast metro, so I stopped in to give it a try. Man, am I glad I did! The asada tacos are amazing, and I will definitely be back as often as possible. I live in the south west metro, so it won’t be nearly as often as I would like.Run, do not walk, and get yourself here! It is well worth it…and you will not be disappointed! I always want to like a new place when I try it, and I have been disappointed a number of times. But El Sazon made it easy. What I tried is pretty dang awesome! The tortillas were crunchy and delicious, but sauce was amazing, and the Asada was cooked perfectly!I really enjoy finding out-of-the-way places that are in in unexpected locations, and this being located in a BP gas station in Diffley Square makes it a hidden gem.love Love LOVE this place!

Fantastic food. Great service. Little kitchen in a gas station that was steadily busy. Obviously loved by many locals.

Went to the place bc of tik tok and was impressed! I placed an order online for pick up and it did take an additional 10 minutes than the pick up time. It was definitely busy and didn’t seem like there were many workers available. Regardless, it was cool to see families eating inside the gas station and the amount of people waiting for their food. We got the burrito and chicken tacos. I wanted to try the shrimp since I believe that is what it is known for but I accentuate clicked the chicken:( guess I’ll have to go back! I wished the burrito had sour cream, but it was still great. For some reason, I think I like chipotle better.. but I love supporting small businesses like this! Definitely try it out in Eagan!!

These are the places you enjoy finding because it shows off the modern day explorer skills in the good food category off some app. These days a gem like El Sazon in Eagan had probably blown up on social media 20 minutes after its grand opening. The fact that it’s in a middle eastern run conveinance store that may or may not sell gas adds to its flavor. El Sazon sits just off 35E in that Eagan end up in Mendota with a wrong turn matrix. With office complexes (for lease) and scenery that makes everything seem the same with each intersection looking just like the other one then all of a sudden your in a run down BP with clubish music thumping eating some damn good ($$$) food on a sticky table with someone else’s salsa on your pants. It’s about as real as you can get it in these parts. The food was everything the reviews say and more and the experience stroked my exploring ego like a tic tok stripper sharing nothing to no one inside their mind. Enjoy! Be kind! This gas station doubles up as a take out restaurant which is interesting. The first restaurant that occupied the space was a Gyro take out then it went belly up. Then El Sazon showed up not too long after a new owner bought the station. The food isn't bad, but not the best. When my car was being worked on at Heartman Auto repair I was a bit hungry and went to the gas station for a snack. When I walked in I saw this Taco place thinking about giving it a try. I ordered the steak burrito which was thick as all heck, but it had a bit too much rice in it for the price. I expected a little more meat than what I got. It wasn't bad, but had better off a Taco Food truck.Employees were great and courteous that much is 5 stars. Food not so much.Wheelchair accessibility: It is hard to navigate due to the small size of the building.
