If you were looking for a fun cocktail, an excellent martini or old-fashioned with a light appetizer this is your place. The area is absolutely beautiful and the Omni is nice. But the place was horribly understaffed. We sat at the couch area with little expectations and went to the bar for our drinks. Ordered some food and it was very hard getting even napkins or plates, dirty dishes, just sat there. For the price you pay ($15 a drink , $20 for wings) you need to have more staff on a Sunday game day .

The hostess that greeted and seated us was awesome- so friendly and welcoming. Service has much to be improved. We were there once before in the winter and had the same experience. Management needs to get a clue! It took 15” for the waitress to take our drink order (we were just about to leave but she came to our table). It took another 15” for the drinks and app to come. We inquired about the order with another waitress and the hostess had to get it going.it was not even busy on the patio and the inside bar. The ambiance and view is delightful but management is lacking as the service is unacceptable.

It’s a nice place with an upscale vibe. We had a large group for a birthday party. The pros were that I ordered the chicken strips and they were a 10/10. Delish. Unfortunately, there are cons. Service was very sluggish and so was the kitchen. I know we had a large group, but it wasn’t busy in there. Some people in the group did not like their food. One person ordered the cheese fondue and sent it back because the cheese was gross. They only allowed us four checks, so we had to have one person pay for multiples and do Venmo which was a hassle. They also added an 18% service charge to the bill but didn’t disclose it. The waitress came and told us after. We had to collect our own checks and bring them to the person to run because they were taking so long. Personally, I wouldn’t go back.

Great atmosphere and service! Kids menu was a bit overpriced for $16 for 2 chicken tenders and chips. Would maybe chose different music choice of club music during Sunday brunch hours.
We've come here a every month but had the worst service we've ever had on a Sunday afternoon. Two people at the bar and bartender acted like we didn't exist. 2 rounds of cocktails in an hour and a half time frame. Disappointing service. Hostess was nice and friendly, but couldn't make up for the poor service.
We decided to stay in the twin cities for spring break this year and do a fun 'staycation' at the omni. We ate at ember and ice - there were 8 of us, 4 kids and 4 adults. The food, service and ambiance were all fantastic. The bartender was super friendly and fun. We had a variety of dishes - salmon, beet salad, chicken tenders, burger. Everything was delicious. We ordered room service from the restaurant for dessert and the dessert was amazing. The fireplace, viking decor ( think Norwegian, cozy, game of thronesish) and cozy vibe was perfect. Loved it all and will be back!
The Omni Hotel is a lovely hotel. We ate at Ember and Ice for dinner which was fairly decent. I personally enjoyed the Skol Nachos. The next morning we had breakfast. The breakfast was underwhelming and food quality did not meet the price point. It was convenient to go there but I would not choose them for breakfast next time. Beyond the food, the servers were great and atmosphere is relaxing and nice.
Cool atmosphere. Cozy. Nice bartenders and servers. Made us feel at home. My only disappointment was that they did not serve any blended drinks - i.e. ice cream drinks. We ate downstairs at Kyndred, and was soooooo looking forward to an after-dinner Brandy Alexander, but alas, it didn't happen. Settled for a non-ice cream Grasshopper. Overall, I will definitely come back. 😀
Top notch hotel restaurant and bar. Always great service. Their holiday speciality drinks are great.

There is this amazing bartender named Ashely that works there. She has an amazing talent to mix drinks. You just have to tell her what you really like. She will mix the most amazing drink you have ever had. I was in heaven drinking the drinks she mixed for me l.

My husband & i have been stopping here for years because it's such a cozy atmosphere. But the food often disappoints (in selection & quality). And the service is often subpar (our visit on Oct 13 for brunch was the worst yet).

Visited this establishment as we were staying in the hotel. Amazing atmosphere, food was excellent and staff was amazing. I will definitely recommend it. This place also has an outdoor patio if that's something you enjoy.
Vegetarian options: Has couple of vegetarian options. Beyond Burger was liked by the kids
Parking: Lots of free parking, depending on how busy the hotel is.
