I came in for breakfast and ordered a sandwich with a scrambled egg and breakfast potatoes. The guy cussed me out, charged me double for the potatoes, then proceeded to make my sandwich wrong. He did replace it but come on…I’ve been coming here off and on for years, never been treated like this

The food was awesome. I ordered quite a few things and they were all really good. I'll definitely be eating here meny more times. This unassuming joint is shared with the shell gas station, but don't let that deter you from dressing to the 9s and inviting your favorite person. Maybe just bring allong aprons or bibs too if you opt into the BBQ.

Food comes out cold after waiting for it for too long. The store inside has missing prices. The deals they have arent in the system so they are scamming a lot of people. 2 for 4 and they ring up for 5 or 6 dollars and let you pay. If that's not scamming idk what is. Check your receipts.

I had the Fire up burger. It was decent. What I am disappointed in are the fries. The grease needs to be changed. Years working in fast food, you can tell the differences.
The eatery is inside a convenience store. 3.5 stars feels about right. Had a $10 Denver breakfast burrito. It was pretty big, but nothing special. Only one restroom.

I’m curious, why did I receive an email stating that:
“Transparency and trust are at the core of what we do. That's why we've decided to remove service charges from our menus.”
Which isn’t the truth at all. Governor Walz signed a bill that eliminated junk fees to increase transparency. A simple “we’re eliminating miscellaneous fees from our transactions” would’ve been more accurate and transparent than claiming something you’re forced to comply with as your own act of “transparency”.
Congrats, you’ve lost my trust. You may be able to fool some Minnesotans but some of us actually pay attention to the news and the bs emails you send.
Additionally, whoever owns this business needs to figure out what the heck they’re doing with this brand, it’s changed, and changed and changed. To the point where if I want to avoid supporting the owner(s) I have to do a deep dive and verify if the establishment isn’t just a refresh of a refresh of a refresh of a brand. Bothersome.

Great menu choices since they are an extension of the connecting restaurants plus their previous servings. I got a cheese curd burger and it looked pretty, as it would at the real Burgers and Bottles, but the patty was tiny and so dry. It was a patty that I would expect from a teenager knowing nothing about cooking. What chef cannot make a decent burger? Hydrated it with some ketchup and mustard so I could get my money out of the meal. Definitely not going back for that quality at that price.
Fries were the same crap fries they (and Burgers n Bottles) have used for years, so nothing new there. The bacon, cheese curds, and bun were quality though.
Update asking overall review: I will say I've eaten here a couple times before and had a decent experience. Prior to my recent visit, it has been decent food for a gas station. I wouldn't talk it up to friends, but it's a decent selection if you're always traveling and want a decent real quick meal for lunch.
