My husband has the worst Padthai in his life. I ordered Hiko Sushi. I thought dish having a restorant name should be excellent. Hiking sushi plate was OK.

So I’m a fair reviewer. Was on a lunch break and decided since I’m in the area I shall give this place a try as they have a surprisingly 4.2 star review. Service was poor, waitress didn’t write my order down and asked me multiple times what I ordered, I was the ONLY customer in the place! I also got charged extra for a bottled Diet Coke(wasn’t even given a glass). I was under the assumption a drink came with the meal? Anyways, I ordered the spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, and an order of chicken gyoza. Not the worst I’ve ever had, but definitely below par. Shall not be returning! This place needs a major facelift!!!

There isn't a better sushi place in the twin cities, after a 3 year tour in Japan I had a hard time finding that melt in your mouth quality sushi, not judging by rolls that blend flavors in a fashion you dont get to enjoy the flavor, but actual sushi a slice of fish, a dab of Wasabi, and rice. Very traditional and I guess their rolls are pretty dang good too if that's your thing. Toro is on the menu and that's hard to get anywhere ?

We were from out town and found this place on Google. It was close enough to our hotel, drove for 6 hours didn’t want to drive more just for food. Had good reviews so thought why ntot. Seemed okay enough but was not good at all. Beware of this place. We went in and the hostess was less than thrilled to be there, she was very unpleasant. My daughter spicy tuna was not good at all. I asked for spicy vegetable Lo Mien, it was burnt looking and was not spicy at all. It stunk in the restaurant, couldn’t put our finger on the smell but was not good at all. They actually don’t deserve any stars. But I have to give a star.

Horrible, from the service to the food.

Food was very salty, dirty dishes. The staff was unfriendly. The place was just cluttered and dark.

This place is a health hazard. When you walk in you see a messy unkempt bar that's not being used as a bar. Various bottles shoved haphazardly in a display cooler. Boxes of various product stacked head high. A large table in the dining room is clearly used as their office, and it's messy and cluttered. opened boxes of unchilled beer sat in a stack on the floor. The floor was recently mopped with musty, smelly, old mop water, which made the restaurant stink. At the sushi bar, an assortment of deli cups and to go containers hold the ingredients to make your meal. With the issues so plain to see, we did not feel comfortable ordering any sushi. Cleanliness is so important when you're making sushi and I was shocked to see how brazenly filthy this place was.

The sushi was poorly rolled. The wasabi looked toxic. The service was very quick but at what cost…The mochi was $4.50 for ONE mochi ice cream. They handed it to me on a plate in a package which I then had to pry the mochi out with a fork. The server also took my order from 4 feet away every time I spoke to him.

Looks kind of sketchy from the outside but inside is neat and clean. Place was pretty empty and it took longer than is should to get seated and set up. After we were, the server was focused and attentive.

Came to this restaurant as it was the closest sushi restaurant to where I was and had a 4-star rating. I ordered two rolls and a side of fried rice as well as a Pepsi. One of the first things I noticed was the dish ware. The cups in which they serve water were covered in what looked like hard water stains/streaks. As well as the utensils. The plates had a greasy-ish reside as though they hadn’t been washed well. When I asked for a straw for my bottled Pepsi, I was served a fully opened straw in another water stained cup. I asked for a plastic spoon, which I received with some kind of skid. I went for a new one and saw their plastics were an open bin of mixed open utensils that they use to put in take out bags.I will admit that the sushi was good. The portion sizes were good and tasty. However, the fried rice was a little bit salty, this was w/o any sauce.I also found their bathroom very clean, I’d imagine so b/c any person who came in was picking up take-out…Overall I rate this 3/5 because the restaurant lacked professionalism and cleanliness when it came to dine in service. The woman who was serving was wearing what I’d deem house shoes and the front of house looked like it was being used as an office. The food made up for the atmosphere.I’d recommend this restaurant use a better method of washing their dish ware, and exhibit a more professional look and service when it comes to their employees and dining atmosphere.
