THIS IS NOT THE RESTAURANT IN THE PICTURES DO NOT COME. A gas station took over some of the names and turned it into kind of lunch counter thing. Food was awful, and over priced, it smelled like someone died in the eating area… no bueno, stay away.

Food had very little taste, not fresh and took long for it all already being done and all he had to do was put them together. Would not recommend if you’re looking for taste. Hard to tell but my guacamole was also brown.

Tacos we're good but the station attendant that you pay was rude. It's a gas station...

Went on a Sun and they said they weren't serving tacos , burritos and they could offer us a salad??? Why are you open?

tried to go there when it said they were open (2:30 on a friday). nobody answered the phone and the door was locked. no sign saying they’re closed or anything :/ really disappointing tbh

Three visits since I discovered it late this summer, three A+ meals. Do NOT be put off by the current convenience store location. Hearty portions. Food is freaking delicious. I often crave the carnitas tacos. We've also had the chicken tinga tacos, rice, chips and various salsas. All good, and I look forward to trying more.

I'm originally from Dallas, TX and these guys re the real deal. If I know anything it's authentic Mexican food and Tex-Mex. They are hands down the best in Minnesota. As far as customer service I had a great experience. These guys are top notch. But if you don't know the difference in good Tex-Mex then you just don't know. These guys are authentic so as far as customer service, that's another thing. But my experience was great and hopefully they continue to be great.

If less than one star was am option that is what I would rate mean miner's tacos. I can here with my wife and daughter thinking we might get some decent street tacos. When we first arrived we thought the place had closed because they are no longer their own restaurant but moved into the gas station at the end of the strip mall. The fact that it is now in a gas station should have been a warning sign but we decided to give it a try anyways. The second warning sign was the struggle to order. We made no alterations to any of the order but the person taking the order still didn't seem to be able to follow what we were asking for or how many of each taco we wanted. After finally getting our order placed we got to wait for a solid 25 minutes before I watched them walk over to a steamer tray and start taking the meat out to make our dinner. Once we finally got our food we found out that not only was the order wrong but the food was mostly inedible. Each taco was soaked in whatever water the meat had been stewing in for what I can only assume was days because of how dried out the meat was. The tortillas became a soggy mess that was falling apart when you tried to pick it up and the meat was dry and tasteless. At the end of the day we spent about $40 to get a few bad tacos that went mostly uneaten and were thrown away. We left hungry and stopped somewhere else for food because everyone was hungry but no one was willing to finish more than one of these disgusting tacos. If you're in the mood to sit in a gas station and eat overpriced bad food give them a try but we will never go back.

Great customer service, food was delicious, atmosphere was cozy, margaritas made without orange liquor (the real way) strong, a bit sour and with a real tequila 100% agave Jimador (not jose cuervo). Prices reasonable.

Don't let the fact that you order from a convenience store deter you: hands down some of the best street tacos out there! Barbacoa and chorizo were my favorites but you can't make a wrong choice! Highly recommend a try if you haven't already!

This place was WAY better before they moved to the gas station area recently. I used to love coming in for their food and the staff was always great. Now they always seem to get my order wrong, different staff and the wait is longer as well. Their food is still good, but im done getting back to work only to find missing ingredients. Doubt I'll be going back now. Sad, this used to be one of my favorites.. at least there is no shortage of good places to eat in the area!

Come to Mean Miner's Tacos, it's absolutely worth it. Mean Miner's Tacos is a total gem of a find. I think no matter what you choose you will absolutely love their food, I especially liked their Chorizo Street Tacos. Most importantly the staff is courteous. Mean Miner's Tacos gets it right over and over again.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere is a little strange. It's actually a convenience store with a small menu of freshly prepared food.

Anything and everything on the menu is amazing. It is worth my hour drive for their high quality and delicious authentic options.
