Every time I visit Burnsville from Dallas, Texas, I've wanted to stop at rack shack barbecue. From when they used to be located on the other side of 77 Clif Road to their current location. After more than 10 years, I finally had an opportunity to visit the restaurant today. To my dismay I ended up, leaving without ordering any food. I asked about the brisket and I was told it was good. When I asked specific details about the bark, if it was a wet or dry cut I was told it's the same as every day. I asked if I could see the brisket and I was told no, What if a customer walked in and needed to be serviced immediately. When I asked if they had a sample, I was told they don't provide samples. They have a minimum order of half a pound of meat. I asked if I wasn't happy with the brisket if I could return or exchange it, and I was told they do not do either. I was very disappointed. -Jason

Sat there for 15 mins trying to order they kept passing me by like I wasn’t even there smh place was empty so really had no excuse to not take my order y’all really need to get it together in there that’s how you lose

Placed order online. Waited in restaurant for 30 minutes. No one asked why I was there. No one was at counter majority of time. 3 couples came in after me, ordered, received meals, and started eating before I was finally given my food. Drove home. I was given someone else’s order. I drove back down to restaurant. I was quickly given my order. Got back home. Hobo had more chunks of fat than pieces of meat. Very disappointed. This was one of my favorite places.

Ordered brisket meal, 4 thin slices where very dry. Staff was fast and friendly, went in and ordered to go, only took about 8 minutes.

Perfect BBQ spot with excellent deal on a Lunch Special!! I've had the Pulled Pork Sandwich, Rib Meal, and Amazing Beef Brisket Sanwich. Sandwiches come om Onion Buns and they have 10 types of BBQ Sauce!!! Will be back this week!
