Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

We had great service from the owners. They were very welcoming and didn’t rush our larger group. She was very friendly with the kids. She also took the time to explain the differences in their items. The gelato ice is egg free too!

This place does not make their mixed ice and ice creams correctly. They are ripping us off. I ordered a 5 layer and the owner put about 1 tablespoon of ice cream in each “layer” then filled the cup over 1/2 way with a layer of ice twice. I told her that is incorrect and it should be an actual equal layer of ice cream then a layer of ice etc to make the 5 layers. She continued to scoop MORE ice on and said she will “put extra ice cream on top.” Mind you, the ice cream she put on top is the normal amount that should be there. This chain is from the east coast. I have been to the east coast to Rita’s there. They have so many that they are literally every couple miles there’s another one. This location does not follow the Rita’s menu or how cups are supposed to be made. I basically just paid over $7 for a cup of Italian ice and 3 tablespoons ice cream. This has happened here more than once.

Terrible customer service the lady was rude and impatient also did not wear gloves. If I could give 0⭐️ I would. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I GO HERE.

Sometimes we forget how great desserts taste like, until you have a real & so refreshing dessert. I had a tangerine type of shaved ice & a strawberry handmade ice cream, truly made my heart happy. Staff hardworking kind humans. thankful I had to do a detour & found this diamond. Thank you ! <3

Overall the experience was good and the staff were friendly. A little disappointed they did not have as many flavors as advertised on the website.

Love Rita’s but hate the Eagan location the woman is always rude even though Apple Valley is further from me I will only go to that location the customer service is way better and worth the drive!

We went this evening after dinner to redeem a reward for my birthday. The man who helped us was very kind and explained the menu items to us, we will be back soon! 😊

This place is wonderful. The owners and staff are always so helpful and kind. We've ordered from here for a few parties and are never disappointed!
