I would tend not to do a review if at least the customer service was good. But in this case...
Service: We were treated like we did not belong there. Sorry we are not from Ethiopia. Our food came out and we couldn't get silverware (okay - we understand it's finger food for the culture but no napkins either). This was throughout the entire meal and we were sitting at the bar. We had a beer and a shot of tequila ($10 for about a tablespoon).
We had a $30 platter with about $5 worth of food. The only thing that stood out taste-wise was the 1 (yes ONE), chicken leg.
We were really excited to try this place out but so disappointed. I have had Ethiopian food many times and LOVE it but I'm not sure what was going on here. Again, if we were treated like we were somewhat welcome I'd write this off to a bad day and try again but in this case NO!

They have the best quanta fir fir in Minnestoa. I also love their shekela tibs! Every single time, it's just so delicious and there are no left overs. I just had some and I'm already thinking about the next time I will have some. They also have great service!

Everytime I order the vegetable combo to go it is missing one of the veggie dishes. Tonight I even asked if they have all of the ingredients for the veggie combo because I’ve ordered in the past and only received two of the ingredients. They assured me they had them all so I was surprised to see the beets were missing. It is too bad. - the food tastes excellent but it is inconsistent in portion size and ingredients. I do not recommend, unfortunately.

Best injera I've ever had. Not bitter. Veggie combo perfect if you can't take heat. Bright and clean, friendly owners. Definitely going again!

We as a family came in at lunch time. It took 20 minutes for us to get our menus. They only had one man working the whole time we were there. The food was below average and the one of the dishes was undercooked (Doro Wat). This is an honest opinion, I will never go back again. This is the owners fault, we do not blame any of the servers even tho there was only one.

Delicious food in a gorgeous, spacious restaurant. Staff was very welcoming, fast and helpful. We had shekla tibs and the veggie combo and devoured it all. We look forward to returning soon!

Stopped for dinner with friends tonight. GREAT food and even BETTER service. It was our first time ordering Ethiopian food so we asked the waiter what he would recommend. We were not disappointed! The owner also stopped by to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. Congratulations on two years. Hoping you're around for many more!
This place is not a welcoming place. The order takes a lot of time after they bring the food no one comes to see how the food is, and the service is so bad they need to practice how to handle the customer.

Worst service I ordered through Uber Eats and I only received 1 of 3 items. Also my only item I received Doro Wat had only one chicken leg! Never ordering from here again!

I ordered online aware tibs and vegetable somosa. I got texts confirming. I went in and they asked if I had an online order and how many items, I say 2 and they give me the bag. I get home and it is the wrong item, so I call and they said they show I ordered something different. I went back to the restaurant to show my receipts and confirmation texts and they said they didn’t receive it and if I wanted the food to pay for it again and file a card dispute because who I ordered it through was a scam. Fine whatever, they could’ve said instead of trying to contact whoever had the order I picked up. Then they have the audacity when I go to pay TWICE for my meal to say make sure the card you give me is good and won’t bounce back as if I just don’t have the money for my food. I used to enjoy this place, but being treated like that… I will never come here again.

Good food and plentiful. We had a large veggie/meat platter for 5. I took home leftovers and had two more meals. We did not try many beverages. We ran out of time, for our schedule. Found out that "Injera" ,the Ethiopian spongy bread,is made from teff, and is gluten free!! That was a plus, as one guest has gluten issues!!
Vegetarian options: Menu is online, also.
Parking: This place is near Target in Eagan, across the street from EMagine Theater. We had trouble following the Google map directions. It's next to/ near the Dollar Store. All are north of Cliff Road. Easy to get to, actually.
