4.2 rating is a lie. Front desk worker (short older lady with glasses) is very rude. Had an attitude checking me in. Walked off, said no details about the hotel.. Room smells wet and old mold NEVER AGAIN... CALLING CORPORATE...

I was not happy with this Marriott hotel. The day started so well and everything was going great. Me and my family arrived at the Spring hill Hotel sometime after 1 in the morning. After unpacking we discovered dried up blood on one of the beds and the other bed had some black stuff on it. My son slept on the couch because of the blood and that was after I changed the bedding at 2 in the dang morning. He didn't trust it as we didn't either. We slept on the other bed not knowing if that was clean. We were so tired after driving 5 hours and we just needed sleep. We brushed our teeth and someone's facial hair was coming up and covered the sink along with our toothpaste mess. It was so disgusting. To top all that we didn't get any service the next day as they don't do housekeeping on a daily basis. I had to go get my own clean towels myself.
No housekeeping
No maintenance
They put me to work on my own vacation

Hotel was clean, close to restaurants, and airport.

Decent place to stay and in a great area. The rooms are small and the bathroom set up is a little weird but it's decent. The bed is ok....not soft but not hard. I would stay again.

I have never in my life been to a place where the GM was so rude and disrespectful along with the one of the staff he manages during the am/midday. They say it starts at the top and this was certainly no exception. They ran our card 7 times locking it up and told me that it was my problem because I hadn’t gotten back to the bank fast enough to report it wasn’t a fraudulent charge. Instead of notifying me, they continued to run it several times. I had an email and auth form sent to me from Loyalty at Marriott and shared it with him where he proceeded to literally call me a “Liar” and that I made up the email address and form. All the while he is on my phone looking at my email to see it. In fact he says, “This email came from a Yahoo account…” which is where it was forwarded from, so shows the lack of attention paid to begin with. He rolled his eyes at me when I stated his morning/day staff member was so rude and just proceeded to berate me. He was clearly defensive from the start and the fact his staff member was allowed to behave that way at the front desk was appalling and says a lot. One of the staff, in the afternoon, was kind but clearly afraid of him (or she was embarrassed by his behavior) and I felt bad for her. But I’m telling you, this GM and his Front Desk am/midday employee was something out of a “How to Not Behave” handbook. I’m surprised Marriott would allow them to continue being a representative of their company there. Luckily, there were witnesses there to share the experience with me. I went to a different property never to return. Hopefully someone will eventually put a stop to their outlandish behavior.

I forgot a bag of back to school clothing in my room worth over $400, much more if it hadn't been on sale. Called the hotel that night when I got home as soon as I realized we didn't have it. In 5 days I have called multiple times and emailed the general manager Michael with zero call backs or response in anyway from the hotel. Aimbridge Management group does not seem to care. I also asked if they could check the front desk camera to see if I did walk out with it but left it outside. I don't remember carrying but maybe I did. You would think you'd want to know if you have an employee committing theft or if the customer made a mistake. I would take full ownership if it was my fault. If not, you need to seriously evaluate your staff.
I hope to receive follow up, if not, definitely will not return to a Marriott property owned by Aimbridge in the cities and will cancel hotel blocks that I have set up for my son's sports teams. My loyalty to the Marriott brand will end.

Everything was great breakfast was nice rooms were nice, only issue we had was we were told housekeeping was every 3 days and never got it, but other than that everything went well and staff was overall respectful

Rooms clean. Good amenities like a pool, spa and small gym. Breakfast at 6:30am. Great workers.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Checked in Wed and had stay through Monday. Wednesday starting at around 7pm there was no water. Not no hot water water but no water at all. Couldn’t use the bathroom or shower at all for hours. Didn’t learn water was out until after the kids were done swimming and needed to shower..then at 10:30 after the pool closed and we all wanted to shower and sleep we left to spend a night somewhere else. So we paid to stay a different location for that night. Learned water wasn’t back until 1:30am. Who knows if that’s true. Asked to be compensated for the night and it hasn’t been done and further more charged me for parking when we weren’t even there. Checked out in Sunday ahead of our reservation due to the terrible stay. Even charged us parking for Sunday evening even though we already left and turned our keys in. Rooms smelled musty moldy. Room was super damp and couldn’t get it right with the AC. No vent or fans in the bathroom, 4 hot showers and the room just stayed damp. Rooms are dated and don’t match their photos. Absolutely the worst Marriott stay we have ever had. Due to the NAFA nationals, many hotels were booked. Asked the manager repeatedly to call and hasn’t done so.

Well well this was a great hotel experience expect the front desk service check in was great, but I am giving them 1 🌟 because I had to be at work at 8 and I asked for a wake up call @0730 tvs turned off as usual did I get up on time NO didnt receive the wake up call got to work 45 min later and that sucked time bad not saying I won't come back but what I am saying is don't offer the service if you don't want to provide it

If you're under 5'7. This place is for you. Examples: toilet is short. It's like a kids toilet. For any man that has dangly bits. When you sit on the toilet that means you dip in the toilet water. The shower... shower head is probably 5'7 off the ground. Not great for tall folks.

the place STINKS!!! 😷 this building is so old and the fact is so cute in Minnesota makes it so from the moment you step in the place just stinks of musty and moldy smell, and so does the rooms! Theo outside patio is FILTHY from spilled drinks etc!

If you don’t mind that then would be an OK hotel to stay in

Front desk staff was nice when we checked in and out, but overnight staff and breakfast staff were extremely rude. They don’t service the rooms daily which they don’t tell you at check in, and don’t leave extra toilet paper either and minimal towels too. When you need more toilet paper you must pick it up at the front desk as they refuse to bring it to your room.
Overall the room didn’t smell or feel clean. Was 94 degrees outside when we checked in, and the room AC was off, so room smelled very stale, humid and hot. At least our SC worked since friends did not have working AC at all.
I usually stay at Marriott hotels and this was the first time having this experience. I was surprised Marriott would have their name on such a crappy hotel. Will never stay there again and would tell others to stay elsewhere.
The one plus - King room has a nice layout with ability to have a few additional people hang out together rather than down in the lobby area.

The hotel needs a refresh. Very friendly staff.
