This was definitely a good choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The first room I got put in smelled like smoke and without any hesitation the staff asked if I would like to switch rooms.

The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars was because I thought it was going to be a room with an actual separated bedroom with a door. It was not. Also, I thought the beds were supposed to be queen and they were only double.

None of that mattered too much though so I didn't complain. I would stay here again if I choose to do another stay-cation.

The suite was small, there was a crack/hole in the bathroom ceiling, one of the lamps did not work, and we found two sharp carpet staples/tacks with bare feet. The pool did have a lift but the steps were not as accessible for disabled people as they could be. However the views were lovely and the beds were amazingly soft and comfortable.

Stayed here last night. I booked a King Suite, what I got was a queen suite, Being 6'5 my feet hung off the edge of this tiny firm bed with the worst least supportive pillows one could use. The A/C clicked on and off all night long, and the half of the hot tub jets weren't even working. This place has really gone downhill.

Horrible customer service. Called for a schuttle back to springhill suites to pick up our car from park n fly. They asked my name when they arrived at airport and said this was our ride. They brought us to wrong hotel, refused to bring us to correct hotel and said it was our fault we got on wrong schuttle even though they asked my name and said this was our schuttle. We had 2 small children with us We to call and pay for a Uber, and we asked to be compensated for Uber but they refused. We are very disappointed with springhill suites and will not stay there in the future.

SpringHill Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport/Eagan feels like it’s in need of some updates and renovation. The property shows signs of age, from dated décor to worn-out furnishings, which affects the overall comfort of the stay. While the staff is friendly and accommodating, the hotel itself lacks the modern amenities and freshness one might expect. It’s not a terrible stay, but given the condition of the property, I’d likely consider looking for a more updated place next time I’m in the area.

Pros: Location was great. Breakfast was good. Many options and the waffle maker was a plus. Checkin process was easy. Price was great
Cons: There was black mold in the bathroom on the ceiling. There was gum stuck to my sheets but underneath the sheets, kinda strange. The trundle bed had pee stains on it. When I called to ask for towels I was told they cld not bring them up and that I would have to come get them. All things that can be looked past, however the worst part was when I went to the pool. There were a few teenage boys in the pool. They were doing canon balls over and over and splashing everyone. I asked them to calm down a bit because my son is little and he couldn’t get in the pool. I complained to the front desk once the boys opened the patio doors and started running and diving into the pool. They could have gotten hurt! And the parents were not in sight. Finally hotel staff asked them to stop. But they didn’t. They continued to be rambunctious, not respecting other people’s space. A woman and her young son tried to swim and they repeatedly splashed her to the point that she said something to them too. My issue is that when I complained again, I was told “we can’t tell other peoples kids how to act”. Which I understand but then they should have been asked to leave the pool. If multiple people complain about kids roughhousing in the pool, why would you not ask them to leave? I will never stay here again based on that

Though Springhill is good brand of Marriott, unfortunately I was disappointed. The hallway was smelling smoky so badly. Breakfast menu had less options.

TLDR- big rooms, older bath with short shower, very minimal housekeeping, nothing special about breakfast, don’t bother downloading the app.

Pros- We were excited to find a hotel for a decent price that had room for all 5 of us! The two double beds plus a pull out couch was great! We also appreciated the sink & bar fridge.

Bathroom- There have been some updates to the hotel over the years, but the shower heads are not one of them! At 5’9”, I was taller than the shower head, and it wasn’t detachable to use as a hand shower. The toilet also flushed like a jet engine that shook the floor of the whole room.

Housekeeping- At check-in, we were told that housekeeping would only be coming every other day. This was disappointing, but I was glad they told me ahead of time. Unfortunately, what ended up happening is we had absolutely no housekeeping for the entire week we were there (and we left the room every day for outings). I finally asked if someone could at least come empty garbage’s, which happened the day before we left.

Breakfast- The hotel had two trays for hot dishes, and these were consistently quite basic, with scrambled eggs in one & bacon or breakfast sausages in the other. There were no sweet pastries, just the normal toast & english muffins. There was also no pancakes or waffles… my kids were a bit disappointed.

App- As the day of the trip was nearing, I started getting emails about an App the hotel uses to receive room requests & can be used as a room key. I was intrigued & set everyone up on the app, only to be dismissed at check in, being told this specific hotel doesn’t use the app.

Overall, I left this hotel disappointed. I searched & searched, and could not find any email addresses to send this review to hotel management, so I have been forced to post publicly & hope they will read it here. I think, next time, I will find another hotel that has a better bathroom, something special for the kid’s breakfast, and regular housekeeping.

Rooms: Lots of room, but bathroom shower head is for those 5’6” and shorter. Don’t expect any housekeeping unless requested.

HOUSEKEEPERS ARE THIEVES!!

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. When we checked into our room we found food on the floor, dead bugs along the windowsill, and stained towels with someone else’s hair on them. These things we could look past. We are the kind of family that will make the best out of any situation!!! The beds are comfy and we had a blast hanging down in the pool area. HOWEVER on our 2nd day we had a refresh scheduled. My son and daughters swimsuits were accidentally mixed in with the pool towels. So when housekeeping picked up the towels they took the swimsuits with and instead of putting them into lost and found they threw my sons trunks in the garbage and STOLE my daughters bathing suit! My husband found my son’s trunks in the dumpster but never found my daughter swimsuit. I will assume that the HOUSEKEEPER wanted my daughter’s suit, like a CREEP and so she wouldn’t be caught she had to throw my sons trunks in a bag full of papers and threw them in the dumpster! My husband and I work at a hotel so we know the protocols! Anything found should be tagged, put into lost and found and held onto for 90 days. We still had a day left when we realized the swimsuits were missing!! We will never stay here again, and when we get back to our hotel will make sure to spread the word that all travelers should stay away from this hotel unless they want their belongings stolen!

Me a 20-year-old, has been checking into hotels across the country by myself for the last two years and has never had a problem with me not being 21. However the very unhelpful and downright rude girl at the front desk didn’t let me check in even after my father signed an authorization form allowing me to check in, since he booked it under his name using his points. My father nor I have never had such an awful experience at a hotel within this chain of hotels. My father is a platinum member with this hotel reward system and is appalled by the treatment that his daughter received at this hotel. This kind of treatment wouldn’t have been so upsetting if they stated on the website that you need to be 21 but it said that you only have to be 18. So, you can see where my frustration comes from.

It's a good hotel, and we received a warm welcome at check-in, which was wonderful.

The rooms are spacious, and the location is convenient. However, I'm giving it 3 stars because of the breakfast. There was no bread, which I consider essential. Without it, those with special dietary needs or those feeling unwell don't have many options, as bagels are quite heavy and not suitable for everyone for breakfast.
