Let me start with the fact this is one of my favorite restaurants so I wasn’t sure if I should write this review, but I’m still dumbfounded by last night. Our waitress was great, this is more about management. A friend and I went for dinner and decided to pick from the restaurant week menu. We both picked the strip steak. Both of our steaks came out overcooked. Her Med-rare was med-well and my med-well was well done/charred. Not good, but edible. The issue was that I was getting mouthfuls of fat that I had to spit out (ugh, sorry). I shared this with the waitress who was sympathetic and asked if I wanted a new one. I said no, but had just wanted to let her know since this was not normal for the restaurant. She came back and said the manager apologized and would take half off, which wasn’t necessary, but appreciated. She again offered a new steak for me, but my friend was almost done eating so I declined. After the 3rd offer, I decided to say yes and she took my plate with the sides I was enjoying, but not done. A few minutes later, she came back with a mortified look on her face. She told me that her manager told her to tell me that if they recooked it, I would have to pay full price. I couldn’t believe the manager put her in this position. I declined since my friend was done dinner and it was almost 8:30pm. She said she would get the manager since she felt terrible. The manager came over, asked what the issue was. As I explained what happened (how did he not know) he looked at me with no reaction. He then offered a new steak at no charge or I could take one home. At this point I was over it. We sat at 7:35 and we had already been there and hour, and I wasn’t going to make my friend wait for my food. I couldn’t even process what I was experiencing. As I was talking to the manager about what he could do at this point, our dessert came. I declined his offer of steak after my dessert and just wanted to be done. He said there would be no charge for my food (which they took away from me when they told me they would cook a new one). Uh, thanks!
The manager should never have put the waitress in this position and he handled the situation horribly. I would have finished my meal if I wasn’t offered a discount and then a remake, but they took away my steak that I wasn’t even half done and the rest of my sides. He lacked any interpersonal skills and seemed more annoyed than anything.
This is not what I expect from a restaurant I go to often and always enjoy. I hope this is just a one off, but this manager definitely needs more training.

Thought the family would have a nice meal at the Mason Jar, but we were in for a Halloween trick.
At the hostess desk we were met by three of the most uninterested young girls ever. All seemed like it was a pain to be of help. We asked for a table for four, but were shunned by the statement "do you have a reservation." Now this was 4:30 on a Wednesday, about 5 maybe six of the many tables were occupied. We said no, we didn't and this was met by frowns and silence. Finally one said I'll have a look. After a long pause one of the young women took us to a table in the pretty much un occupied sections and put the menus on the table and walked away. The table was the only one in the entire restaurant that had the afternoon sun beeming into our eyes. I called the girl back over and asked her if we might have a table without the sun in our eyes. With no response she went back to the hostess desk and talked to the other 2 girls. After several, perhaps 5 minutes all disappeared from the desk as the waitress came back to tell us that it was not possible to change the table. 10% capacity and they wouldn't give us a different table? As we left, the same girls were not the least bit interested to even look at my family. What a joke this restaurant is!

The food was delicious and our waiter Ivan was great! The menu offers a lot of choices from salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, and much more. There's a nice cocktail menu, too. There's something for everyone. The Rueban sandwich with Parmigian fries the Rachel sandwich was delicious! We treated ourselves to desert. The homemade bread pudding and turtle cheescake...yum!!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a sidewalk ramp that leads to the restaurant.

So delicious and fresh! I never had a turkey Ruben called Rachael before and it was absolutely delicious. I think I may prefer this over a regular Ruben.
There’s an actual dessert, bar and ice cream shop, which is amazing including the mango sorbet which was rich and delicious. My sister had turtle cheesecake which was crazy good. The place was packed and easy to navigate.

Went here for breakfast on a slow day. Asked for the bacon to be left out of the entree and the server said “The chef refuses to do substitutions.” This chef has an ego problem. This is not a Michelin star restaurant. This was not a premade or premixed entree. When making it they would have to manually add in the ingredient. Leaving out one ingredient shouldn’t disrupt anything. Ended up having to choose a different entree without bacon and it was horrible. Service was very slow despite the restaurant being fully staffed. Will not be back.

It took 30 minutes after our reservation to be seated, which was a bit frustrating, but the food was really pretty mediocre as well. For serving "modern" takes on Minnesota classic dishes, the tater tot hot dish was a bit over salty and underwhelming. I would have liked some more flavor in it, some distinct mushroom or vegetable flavors maybe. The chicken pot pie was perhaps under salted and the biscuit serving as a crust was maybe a bit more buttery-flaky than I might otherwise like, almost like a fried texture to it.
Overall, very underwhelming.

Slowest service I’ve ever experienced, extremely small portions for the price, and honestly the food wasn’t worth what it cost me. Especially upsetting when you ask to take something off your plate and get told the chef doesn’t swap or make substitutions(to the chef get off your high horse and do whatever it takes to make the customer happy and make sure they come back) Overall not worth going to. I regret stepping foot in that restaurant only reason for one star is cuz zero isn’t an option! Never again!

I want to commend Aidan for his excellent service and fun personality. We were a group of 7 and never had such a great time eating breakfast at a restaurant. He had all of us laughing every time he came to our table. I can't give him enough stars. The reason I gave 4 stars for atmosphere is that I prefer a quieter eating area. The acoustics are such that it is quite loud in the restaurant.

I wish I could give more stars!! Mary was a wonderful server! I got the spam fries and grilled cheese, and when I tell you it was BANGIN. Also my mom got the Pretty in Pink martini which was also really tasty and so cute! AND the prices were very reasonable for what great quality everything was.

Big and comfy booths, pleasant decor, friendly staff, good beer, fresh and tasty salads with your food and the food is quite tasty! (Tilapia tacos and tuna tartare) and a decent kids menu
We returned recently and I had the turkey burger which was*very tasty*. However, I substituted the MJK salad for fries and I was disappointed: the dressing was way too sweet and/or there was too much of it. I also had a "Spicy Mary" (spicy Bloody Mary) which was quite good as well. The service was pleasant.
Atmosphere was wonderful, staff was kind. Great place for breakfast, food was delicious.
