We came here for the Vikings Game. The food was really good loved the Nachos so crispy. The chicken wings looked amazing. It was bit hard to hear in the small space. The only negative thing we really had to say was it was advertised to have a drawing for a raffle every quarter and they didn't really do that we had to ask to be apart of the half time drawing. Seems that if your going to advertise a drawing you should make sure everyone can be apart of it.

Came here for dinner & it was great! We split an order of chicken strips & it was plenty. Very large strips & a good helping. Very delicious too. A side of onion rings were yummy too. Great service also.

NFL FANS BEWARE: this bar does NOT have Sunday Ticket. I'm a MN transplant with a few masochistic tendencies. I just wanted to hang out with my friends and watch my beloved Chicago Bears run one down the side of their leg. Like they ALWAYS DO. My expectations were reasonable. The queens weren't even playing at the same time. (eff the queens) This bar has 15 TVs. No tickey... Maybe you take a slice of the pull tab revenue and slide it over to the cable budget.... I'm sure the 1950's roof antenna can be sent up state by now. Bury it in the pasture next to the dream of the packers making it to a super bowl before 2030. 15 TVs, one 3pm game?!? Fumble on the play, turnover, try a different bar.

I keep coming back to this place. I love the food and service. Their bier selection is decent.
Food was not the highlight, and cocktail drinks too heavy asked to have them go light on the vodka, but they just don't. It's a chip, salsa, and ice tea, maybe a beer adult only atmosphere. If you want a good time.

I stopped by last night around 8:15 pm. I sat at the bar. A female bartender (longer blonde hair, 30’s?) approached me with a bottle of Mich Ultra in her hand and said “I remember you, you drink Ultra” and began to put it down in front of me. I said I wasn’t sure yet and asked if there were any beer specials/late night happy hour. She put the bottle down behind the bar, wheeled around and walked away. She ignored me for a couple of minutes…during which I took out some $ to play an etab machine.
When she finally came back I told her I would take the Ultra (seemed easiest since it seemed clear she had some sort of issue with me or was having a bad day) and an etab machine. She put the beer down, grabbed my etab money and said that she remembered me because last time I was in I only left her a quarter as a tip! She said she remembered me by my WE fest shirt and quarter tip. I told her that she was wrong, that I’ve never left just a quarter tip and hadn’t been in to this bar for many months. She wheeled around, threw an etab machine in front of me and went to put my money on the machine. When she returned I tried to explain that she was mistaken, I hadn’t been into the bar for many months (and the last time I was there I had a male bartender) but she wouldn’t hear it. She was very rude and demanded that she was right.
I cashed out the money I had just put on the etab machine, paid for my beer which I had only two sips from, for some reason tipped her $1.25, and walked out. VERY bad experience totally due to the bartender!
I’ve been to this bar about 5 times since it opened many years ago. There are many bars in Eagan and based on this experience, there is no reason for me or my friends to go back to Trail Stop.

When we sat at our table, the waiter took our drink orders. It took about 5 minutes for our drinks. Then he noticed that there were no menus. We ordered what we wanted and had an enjoyable time. The waiter then brought our bill. It was a good thing I reviewed it as we were going to be charged 60% more for 1 drink, 1 water, and 1 appetizer. The waiter mentioned he was using a new machine to him and was getting used to it.
My suggestions are:
Make sure your staff have a clear understanding of checking the bills they are handing out and making sure the bill matches the table.
Be sure the guests have their drinks in a reasonable amount of time and menus in hand to review while waiting for their drinks and be able to order when the drinks arrive.

best wings in the area BUT WHAT TF ARE THESE SERVING SIZES NOW.
sad to see the day my favorite spot has increased prices while lowering serving sizes. SAD.
I love coming here for their breakfast and bloody bar. We have been regulars now and try to make it every weekend.

Trail stop is the best! My kids and I come here all the time, and the staff is simply superb!
Sammy is always absolutely great. Our server this evening, Nick, was amazing with my kids and family! We will come back for years to come! Go to TRAIL STOP!
Came here for brunch and bloody Mary bar, the food was great, but the service on the patio was terrible. I asked for 3 separate items and never received them. The server seemed annoyed that I even asked. Our drinks were empty for a good 25 minutes, he walked past a handful of times and never asked if we'd like something else. That is actually the reason we went somewhere else for another drink. I'll come back and sit at the bar as long as they serve brunch items there.

Very friendly staff. Lots of seating and bar space. Patio is well shaded. They have tall and short seats. Patio seats do have arms so a bit tight if you are plus size. Inside seats don't they are more comfy. I don't drink and they don't have a mocktail menu but staff was accommodating and made me something it was great. We had the wild cat fries, teriyaki bowl, wild rice soup and steak kabobs.
The teriyaki bowl was perfectly made. Not too sweet or salty, chicken tenders and juicy. Veggies perfectly cooked and rice cooked just right.
The wildcat fries are very tasty with just the right amount of crunch and tender potatoes.
The wild rice soup was tasty and filling, a little liquidy.
The steak kabobs weren't very flavorful. Cooked well and good veggies. Just didn't seem seasoned.
Overall super delicious, good atmosphere and a great time.
Parking: Pretty large lot

Stopped in here on a Friday afternoon. We drove up from Iowa to spend the weekend in Eagan. Sometimes when we come up for a get-a-way we stop at Inver Grove brewery or El Loro. Thought we'd try something different and stopped here. I wanted to love this place, but it was OK.
Wasn't bad, wasn't great... It was ok.
We ordered the buffalo chicken wrap. Good amount of food, tasted good. It had cucumber in it and that made it taste a little more fresh, but the cucumber slices were big! Some much so that I got the same cucumber in 2 bites. Other than that, b is have ordered it again. The service was OK, nothing memorable. They had a drink menu, but no beers listed, it said to ask you server. (Could have had a separate flyer to list rotating beers or something.)
Overall, it was Ok. That's not a bad thing, but it wasn't a place that stands out and I would care to try again.
Edited after owner's reply:
Appreciated the owner's response. I added star. It shows initiative and willingness for improving. If I stop by again I'll re-evaluate.
