Volstead House - Whiskey Bar & Speakeasy Eagan

Said the wait was hour plus and needed make reservation, but no information on the website about reservations needed. Walked out zero stars also the burger place was pretty empty also.

I did have a reservation and could have been happy. The ambiance is amazing! We had a fire table outside in the fall with live music. Took forever to get drinks (when we did get drinks they were great), I had a drink spilt on my purse when it was delivered that wasn’t cleaned up, my appetizer I ordered was out but I wasn’t told that for 45 minutes, dinner delivered without silverware, no one checked on us after food was deliver and no manager on staff for the night. We would have ordered another round of drinks but no one ever came back to the table. A bartender inside tried to make it right (Kylie) but a series of unfortunate events that could be easily fixed-especially at this price point.

Just had drinks but it was a really cool find.

Unfortunately, they appear to play a little game with you where you need a "reservation" to get in the back regardless of whether it's full back there, but here's the kicker--I was told you have to be on site to make/keep the reservation, so they force you to sit and buy beers in the bar in front until your "reservation" is ready if you want to get back there at whatever undetermined time. Won't return.

Absolutely loved this place! Came here yesterday; and it has a really cool vibe. The bar is in the back of a restaurant and the overall vibe is very chill and upscale. Their alcohol list is insane! There’s over 100s of options and choices to choose from. I ordered a whiskey sour with parm fries and my experience was absolutely amazing. I would absolutely return! Also, the bartender working was absolutely amazing!! The drinks he made were delicious.

Taylor was our server tonight and she gave top-notch service.She was very knowledgeable about items on the menu, and whatever she couldn’t answer, she had another bartender come over to us right away to explain some of the questions that we had.Overall, 10 out of 10Can’t wait to go back
