I am always skeptical of bar food, but Yankee Tavern was a pleasant surprise. I ordered the burrito bowl with the brisket on the side (I'm a vegetarian) and they were easily able to accommodate the request and give the brisket to my table mate. The food was incredibly flavorful. Yes, even without the meat. The rest of our party shared the same sentiment. Fried chicken meal on Sundays is scrumptious! 😛(Especially Mac n cheese/brussel sprouts). I enjoy the ambiance of lighting paired with a few classical oldies tunes that play now & then. As an added bonus, staff are friendly.
Ive driven by this place for years. Never had gone in. My Uncle had been here ans suggested we get together. It was a great place to eat. I would enjoy going back here again.
