Food was ok. Got meatloaf dinner. Mashed potatoes were not appetizing. Meatloaf was very salty. Good flavor other than that.

A few of us popped in this past Sunday on our way back home to Madison after visiting a buddy in town. Had to wait 15 or so minutes for a table but not unexpected for a late Sunday morning. Found room for a group of six of us and acclimated to one our group being in a wheelchair. Our server (I am terrible with names, Daniel A maybe?) was fantastic, can't recommend his service enough. Efficient, friendly, knew his stuff, etc. Food was delicious and absolutely hit the right spot. Got the Biscuits & Gravy but the rest of the crew had a mix of omelettes, etc. No complaints from anyone. Coffee stayed fresh and topped, table got cleared efficiently, and payment was a breeze. Definitely recommend this place and I'll try to pop in next time I'm in town!

Had supper here & it was great! I had the shrimp Alfredo w/ mixed vegetables & the taco salad. Cool 50's decor. We're back again! We each had a Chef's Salad, yes it was awesome!

I really like Ze’s Diner, but unfortunately I will not return to the Eagan location, very disappointed by the food preparation. My family and I decided to order breakfast for dinner on Saturday 09/27/25. My daughter and I had the Honeymooner: pancakes, scrambled eggs, and sausage. Literally NONE of the food had an ounce of flavor (not even the pancakes), it was absolutely terrible. My husband had the Gyro sandwich and said it was just ok.
This is a night and day difference from our experience at the Ze’s Diner Woodbury location. We ordered the exact same thing from the location in Woodbury about one month ago, and everything was absolutely delicious and great flavors. Really regret that we spent close to $60 on this, and wish we would have went to Woodbury to begin with, very disappointing.
Not sure what’s going on with the Eagan location, as it used to be great years ago. But I can confidently say we will never return, I will definitely stick to Woodbury going forward.

I had the Mixed Mess is like chucking everything that has from hash brown and hollandaise sauce, scrambled egg, chopped green bell pepper and ham all into one plate. The food is actually bigger than it looks. Looks can be deceiving.
