Let me start by saying I was bamboozled. The sign said 30 years of bringing people BBQ …. I don’t see how… let me not lie the smoked chicken was a 7 outta 10 and the sausage was the same but the ribs tender but not tasty at all. And don’t let me get started on that brisket it wasn’t good at all.. sorry not sorry. Those bake beans need to be taken out to pasture and laid to rest -not good at all. I really had decent hopes but was let down terribly. Service was great but the food doesn’t match

Real Texas BBQ in Minnesota. Actually, better than half of the BBQ joints that you find in Texas. This is the real deal. Highly recommended!

Great spot to take the family, great food, good vibes will be back !
Best ribs in town in my opinion. We also get beans, potato salad and coleslaw. All very good.
Cool decor with old metal signs, Texas license plates, and more images of pigs than you may have ever seen in one place before. I really like the ribs and the sausage.
Best barbecue place in Minnesota easily. I absolutely go bananas for the Texas style brisket. It’s legit. Also love the potato salad and beans.
1st - the atmosphere and decor are spot on. It 100% reminds me of getting BBQ back home.
When it comes to the food - it was good but not what I describe as Texas bbq. The sides are not your traditional Texas bbq fare - so I chose what seemed to be ranch potato salad and a cold corn salad of some sort. The potato salad was good - the potatoes were soft and it was creamy, the corn was also good- it had more of a TexMex feel.
For the pulled pork - the flavor was good - the smoke flavor is natural, which I appreciate bc so many places use liquid smoke, which I don’t like. However it was dry, and the bbq sauce was thin and leaned more toward a spiced ketchup taste rather than bbq sauce.
Overall, if you’re just looking for some standard bbq, it’s a good place to stop by but it’s not going to satisfy your craving if you’re a Texas boy or girl looking for a taste of home.
Overall best BBQ place I have tried in MN !!
Been here three times already and decided to order online. We expected to pick up at the time stated but ended up waiting longer than not. Apparently it was done but no one bother to gave us our food even after stating our name. But that’s not all, we waited that long just for our fried chicken to not be fully sauce. Was actually disappointed this time.
I love it, it took me back to Texas, all the smoky flavors 🙂

I genuinely did love the Ribs and Sausage pictured below. As well as the BBQ Baked beans.
The brisket and chicken were more on the dry dry side and not my favorite but good warm BBQ sauce I will say!
Super friendly folks but will definitely give them another shot again. Good RIBS tho! Will say one of the best I've had for sure!
I do recommend it overall! ?

Outstanding BBQ! Charming hole in the wall, super informal atmosphere too!
DELICIOUS & AUTHENTIC BBQ! Excellent food, warm hospitality and cozy atmosphere. The decor made for a fun setting to enjoy our fall-off-the-bone ribs. Just YUM!
Keep it up! ??

What a great spot! Had an early dinner here with my wife last night. The owners were super nice and gave us the run down! Super friendly, I got the three meat plate (sliced brisket, pork and sausage) with beans, dirty rice and Texas toast! Good portions for the cost! Pork was my favorite, the brisket could have been a tad more moist and sausage was just ok. My wife got the rib special, the ribs were good but it seemed like we had some that were old/dry and not as fresh and others that were great. Some fell right off the bone which was nice, I noticed the membrane was still on the ribs which is not typical? Very cozy vibes in here though! Oh they also had a homemade BBQ sauce that was perfect, not too smoky and just the right consistency! We will be back to try some more! Cheers!
