We attended a private birthday party at Brazen. It was such a fun and private space to host a party. The perfect size for a birthday. The staff was very attentive. We loved the Sweet and Spicy goat cheese flatbread! I highly recommend Brazen for your next small event.

My gf and I had a quick dinner on a Thursday night, which was amazing! She had the Mediterranean salad, and I had the Ah, Porky burger, an ode to the late Porky's on university in Saint Paul. Service was quick, food was spot on and delicious. One of the better burgers I’ve had in a while at a restaurant. We will be going back very soon!

Decided to stop here to grab a quick bite while in the area and were pleasantly surprised. From the outside and the ambience, it doesn't seem like it will be much. However, the food and drinks were excellent! I rarely find myself in this part of town, but commented stopping back when I an. Decided on the Elote Chowder and some cauliflower wings. The chowder was incredibly filling. It is definitely a thick chowder. I ended up using the leftovers more like a dip. I loved the cauliflower wings. They were delicious and crispy and used huge pieces of cauliflower, rather than tiny bites that get burned. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!

The place was hopping, which is likely why we had the experience we did.It took about 10 minutes to be acknowledged at the door, then we were seated by an employee, though, with no menus.Less than a minute later, another employee told us we couldn't sit at the table we were just seated at, so we got up and went back to the door. This employee then asked if someone seated us, to which we replied that yes, they had.She told us we could go back to the same table, so we did... though, still without menus. We waited about ten minutes to be acknowledged, and decided to use the time to both look for a menu online and then, to explore other restaurants as a backup plan. After another ten minutes, we decided it was time to hit the road. I wonder if they are aware we were there and left.**Again, they were very busy, and likely short-staffed, as are most restaurants nowadays. Clearly they are popular and this review is likely the exception to a typical experience at the restaurant.**

The burgers are good!First time visit. I gave this place 3 stars only because of where we were seated. It was very close to the restrooms. While it was a large seating area, the smell of toilet cake filled the eating area. We could have asked to be moved, but if this is an area being designated for seating, the smells of the bathroom chemicals should not be wafting in the dining area. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Our food and drinks arrived on time and he was able to assist in our menu selection. We had burgers, the steak sandwich, and cheese curds.• The burgers were very good.• Steak sandwich not so much• Cheese curds - Different.....• Mac & cheese - okFood overall was decent.I am not sure what happened, but in the men's restroom the door for the toilet was off the hinges.

The theme of this restaurant is unclear from the menu, maybe the interior makes it make sense. The burgers are smashed-style as I learned from the Black and BlueJack Burger. The patty was thin and dry because all the juices get smashed out. The blue cheese mousse and marbled blue-jack cheese packed a lot of flavor and the roasted onions and tomato (!) really added a punch. I just wish the burger had been less done so it was at least a little pink; did not stop me from eating every bite. The Cup of Elote Corn Chowder was really good, a play on Mexican street corn with hot sauce and cilantro on top. Rich, a bit spicy, and very filling, it was scrape-the-bowl delicious and I'd definitely get again. Fried Salty Things were definitely for sharing because the portion is large. The fried pickle spears were really good and the fried olives were even better! What a surprise and something I'd love more of. The "cheese curds" are chunks, not curds, and I honestly couldn't tell what they were. They were spongy and basically empty inside when you take a bite. I didn't finish them. Finally the Mediterranean Wedge was odd because the flavors didn't really combine well. A split romaine heart with thick blue cheese (?) dressing just on top, kalmata olives, roasted tomato, plain artichoke hearts, pepperoncini, pickled red onions, feta, and a lemon dill vinaigrette that tasted like cilantro lime and really did not fit. It was okay but not a combination I liked. I ended up eating the vegetable accoutrements separately. Overall a very good first impression of the food and I'm interested in visiting the restaurant in person for that Elote Corn Chowder!
