Godavari’s food was delicious! I was craving a traditional Indian meal and that is exactly what I got! I went to the buffet for lunch, I tried every dish and was very pleased. The price of the buffet was very affordable as well! I would highly recommend trying!

We ordered boneless chicken briyani and panneer briyani but it is almost like Kushka that is rice without chicken and Paneer . Also small chicken pieces in the briyani felt like not fresh and littlr smelly .Nearby restaurants are better than this..It's not worth for the price we paid

We have been to buffet today and experienced the taste of stale food . The onions in the dragon shrimp were rotten and the chicken was very hard to bite. We would not recommend this branch of Godavari restaurant since we strongly suspect that the leftover food was served today.

I'm not sure where all the excellent reviews are coming from, but we just had a terrible experience and will not be back. We ordered both veg and non-veg dishes...both tasted 'off' and neither of came close to finishing, and didn't take home leftovers. While the staff was very nice, the service itself was terrible. We had to go find the waitress for more water, an extra plate and anything else we needed. She brought the food and never came back. There are too many delicious Indian restaurants in the city to have to eat very mediocre food and bad service.

I was very impressed with the quality of the food I ordered. It was exactly what I expected. I was so pleased with the service I received from this . The food and customer service was above and beyond the standards.
I wanted to try Godhavari restaurant biryani for the first time & I got plastic cover inside chicken biryani. This shows how hygienic their kitchen is. Truly disappointing.

If anything, bring some friends/family and go for the bahubali thali! This is a truly site to behold and a great photo op for all you foodies out there. 6 of us went to try the infamous bahubali thali on a Sunday evening and we were not disappointed. We opted for the vegetarian version and it came with so many different options-mainly South Indian style dishes. Given the vast quantity of options you are bound to like some more than the others-some of my favorites were the paneer biryani, sambhar/daals, Szechuan rice, and idli/chutneys. Ambiance of the restaurant is super casual. The Restaurant said 6 people max for this although I definitely think they should increase the limit. We ended up with a lot of leftovers. They must also be called in advance to reserve the baahubali thali given the quantity of food involved and the fact that they only offer it on certain days of the week. Will definitely be back to have this experience again and to also try their dosas which I hear are great.

I love only this Indian restaurant in the USA. I travel from Iowa to taste the delicious mutton and chicken dum biryani. I went for the Sunday buffet. Naan with shrimp gravy is amazing! I loved the chai. For two people, they charged nearly $54 with tax for the buffet, but it's worth the price.
