Kona Grill - Eden Prairie

Food continues to be great, service is attentive but not intrusive, still love the music mix, do not love the price increases.

It took over ten minutes to see the hostess beyond reservation time, with many minutes with no one there. Then told kitchen was running over 45 minutes late. Told bar seats quicker than table. Waited 20 minutes at bar to order drinks, then 10 minutes to get them. Then another wait to order. We got our food an hour and twenty minutes after our reservation time . Our steak and potatoes were cool. The so called filet was unrecognizable as such and over cooked. Would not go back and advise others to avoid.

Was Tuesday night 11/11. We had a 5:45 reservation. Was busy so we ordered our food immediately (NO special requests, just standard meals off menu of Surf/Turf and salad w/chicken breast). After OVER 90 minutes and still no dinner, we paid for drinks we had w/cash on table and left. Been to this place several times. What a disappointing experience.

Several menu items unavailable. Took more than 90 minutes to get our food. They didn't appear to be unusually busy. Ordered a filet that didn't look like any filet I'd ever seen. Paid $17. for a soda, iced tea, and a house salad. Would never go back. Came for their vets meal. Would never go back.

“Running out” of prime rib, ny strip, and ribeyes at 6pm on a big event day is disappointing to say the least. I appreciate honoring us veterans and thankful for the gesture. Next year, I'll try to make a reservation for earlier in the day.

Horrible. Slow. Steak came out WAY overcooked. Took 15-20 minutes for a remake and the restaurant wasn't busy. Unimpressed

Super slow service, didn't bring water unless asked for after half way eating food. Waited long time to be seated. Will not come again

They were low staffed that night. The staff was very friendly and apologized for the wait. The food was not as good as I recalled from the past. The avocado egg rolls were a bit doughy, the edamame was cold. Everything else was good.

Went to Kona Grill to celebrate my mom‘s birthday. Everything we had was delicious and we had great service! I am glad that we got there for the happy hour specials because while the happy hour specials are definitely a great value, the idea of paying full price for some of the items would not sit well with me. A chicken and shrimp lettuce wrap appetizer normally $22 was $9 which was great! However $22 for an appetizer is ridiculous. That is the price of an entrée or a sushi roll, not an appetizer. My mom had a chicken stirfry entrée which was $29! It was her birthday and she could get whatever she wanted, however $29 for a stirfry, again, is very high. She was also given a free birthday dessert, the butter cake and while we definitely appreciate the gesture, I would not have paid $15 for a small piece of cake. For a Friday evening, the restaurant was probably not even half full, could it be that some of the high prices have driven people away? Usually this place is hopping.

Half the items on the menu were not available. Food was served cold. Quantity was way too small for the price. Very disappointing experience.

Alyssa was fantastic! Knowledgeable and attentive with a great attitude. Food was good as always and the happy hour deals can’t be beat!

We came in for drinks before dinner & sat at the bar which was slow on service - but then we saw Laura - she is an absolute delight & then we had a great time!! If you are able to get Laura as your server, you are guaranteed to have a great experience at Kona- she is a day maker!!
