been coming to lions tap for over a decade. the menu is dead simple. the burger is still my favorite burger. the fries are no longer crinkle cut, but i still like them. i’ve been ordering the same burger for the past 6 years. the place both looks identical to when i first showed up but also hasn’t aged a day, except it keeps on getting busier. i hope this place sticks around for a long, long time.

I have eaten their food for years. I’m hoping the other evening was an aberration. Usually they would get a solid four stars, but this last meal was really bad. Two burgers that were supposed to be medium. One was, the other wasn’t, and both had so much salt on them it was bad, and they changed out their normal buns for really cheap ones that had no flavor and a bad texture. Then the fries not fully cooked.
I’m giving them a three because I’m really hopeful it’s a one time issue. I won’t be going back for a while. I’ll check in this summer in the hopes it’s back to normal. After wasting money the other night I’m not wanting to risk a repeat.

Classic burgers, fries, and beer. Nothing more. I’ve been going with my dad since I was a kid and we always look forward to going back. It’s worth a detour as it’s not the most convenient joint to access.
A classic, must-stop restaurant in Eden Prairie that hasn't really changed for decades.. Perfect service, awesome burgers for the money. The double burgers are huge, by the way. Highly recommend!

Simple menu with a bold flavor. Great for a quick meal with bold flavor. Burgers are served medium with pickles and onions, both optional. If you want more, you can get one with cheese, lettuce, bacon and/or tomatoes. Highly recommend!

Disappointed I couldn’t get a regular beer - all microbrewery beers - it’s a place we wanted so food and a pitcher but the beer was awful. Service was just ok- those tiny plates are a mess - simple changes could make it better. At least have a Coors or Budweiser available.
