Usually the drinks are spot on but today we noticed our iced lattes made like this: ice, pour milk from container over ice, add espresso shot. The milk should be shaken at minimum if not steamed then cooled before added to the ice.
Pretty bummed to have a full cup of milk with the shot of espresso barely poured in.
We felt uncomfortable pointing it out in the moment as the barista appeared new and we had to get going.
Hoping for a normal iced latte next time!

I ordered online and my drinks were not on time. I asked the barista if my order was soon after waiting 20 minutes. She had bleached and black hair. She rolled her eyes when I asked and then she made about 6 drinks until there was no queue or anything else to do before she made mine. The eye roll was so over dramatic and making my drinks after a ton of new orders was just so not worth the trip there. For 20 dollar coffee, I was hoping for a cool new weekend place but I am happy to spend my money somewhere I won't get attitude over coffee.

What a cute place! I came here for the coffee but definitely stayed to soak up some sunshine and good company on the patio. I highly recommend checking this unique gem out next time you're in the neighborhood.

This place is adorable. It has more seating than I originally thought. I like that they don't play music obnoxiously loud. Food and drinks are delicious. I did find it to be a bit pricey but most places are these days.

Really good breakfast sandwiches. Parking can be annoying when it's busy.

Living in central Minnesota makes it hard to find a place that isn’t commercial or generic. Sometimes you want to go somewhere for the atmosphere. Smith’s Coffee and Cafe is that perfect hidden gem that gives off those warm and quaint coastal vibes. This is exactly where I wanted to be on my day off to read my book.

Girl with purple hair and glasses spit in the customers drinks. Will absolutely not be back. You've been warned.

What a find! Wonderful little spot with great coffee! Enjoyed a "made right there" biscuit with homemade jam ND were greeted with a smile. Can't wait for a cooler day so we can enjoy the back grassy seating area!

Where to begin. The parking lot is too small. The drinks take forever and are no better than Starbucks. The food is incredibly expensive and not good for what you pay. Some eggs, a latte, and a biscuit, should not cost 30 dollars without a tip. The food is what you would expect from a Courtyard Marriott Cafe and takes excessively long to come out from the kitchen. Time and time again I come back thinking it will be better, but it’s consistently the worst deal and worst service in Eden Prairie. Today was the last day.

Historic site made into a coffee place that is a mix of historic charm and modern design. The indoors are clean, cozy and lots of seating.
The outdoor patio is adorable. Cute, classic chairs & tables. They brought our drinks & food out to us.
Unfortunately the waitstaff set one of the hot latte's on the busted slat on the table, it tipped & spilled hot liquid on my kiddo and burnt her hand. The waitstaff just stood there, didnt react or offer an apology or even napkins. Nothing. She stood there for a couple seconds silent and then turned and left. It was very bizarre. We tried not to let it ruin our experience but it was disappointing.
We tried a smoked sea salt/caramel latte & vanilla nutmeg ostmilk latte. Delish! The egg & avocado sandwich was yummy. The No. 9 plate was good except WAY over peppered. We got a couple of cookies to go and they were yummy. Overall, we would go back for the ambiance, coffee & food. The waitstaff needs some problem solving-customer service training.

Parking: Parking lot fills up!

If you like to relax with a regular old drip coffee and pop up for a refill at your leisure, this may not be the place. My request to pay up front for a refill was denied, and then of course by 8 or 9 the only line is out the door. I'm mainly submitting a review because of how much less friendly this approach is than most neighborhoods cafe I've ever to. Very cool spot otherwise.

The people are very friendly and great. The food however is subpar. Portion sizes are tiny and taste is very basic. I love their olive bread though and I ordered online. They automatically add fees for staff plus tip and the cost was about $11. I was shocked and then when I went to pick up I find that it is more like half of a standard loaf. Very disappointing. Not worth it.
