Snowbing Korean Shaved Ice

Our entire family got sick - this is horrible and the syrrup had some bug in it - a plus the attendee was rude - the girl in the hat. You lost atleast $200

We got the strawberry cheesecake and couldn’t be happier. It was huge and probably could be shared with 4 people.

My favorite flavor is strawberry 🍓 . I've never tried something like this before . It's a great spot The injeolme and the green tea were delicious. My gf really enjoyed it. Sooo good!

The day we went they didn't sell shaved ice but the other dishes were delicious.

I had tried posting this review 2/22/2023, but not sure what I did wrong for it to not be public.

Short review- The staff are always friendly. All 9 flavors I’ve had so far have been delicious and I can’t wait to keep bringing friends to try Snowbing for their first time!
FYI: If you get Snowbing and Cruncheese at the same time you’ll need to pay from two separate registers. They’re right next to each other, so it’s no hassle!

TLDR-
I was so excited for Minnesota’s one and only Korean bingsu place to open! For those who don’t know, bingsu (빙수) is a milk based shaved ice dessert. Many people might have ice shavers to make their own, but it hits different when it’s made with the milk base.
Even though I live about 30 minutes away I’ve been almost 10 times. Snowbing has 10 flavors: Traditional Red Bean, injeolmi, strawberry, green tea red bean, chocolate, oreo, mango, watermelon, yogurt berry, and strawberry cheesecake. Checkout the photos included!

Flavors: The last time I went I finally tried the chocolate one, which I had been holding out on because I was worried it’d be overpoweringly sweet. It wasn’t! I would order it again in a heartbeat. I’ve gone with friends who’ve been worried about trying the yogurt berry because they didn’t want more dairy with the yogurt, but the yogurt is (in my opinion) mainly just drizzled on top for looks. We didn’t think it was too yogurty and really loved this bingsu because of the 3 fruits in it. I have yet to try the strawberry cheesecake before I’ve had them all, but can’t wait to check it off my list.

Pro tip: Eat the bingsu first, theeen get your cruncheese. If you eat the cruncheese first, there won’t be enough space for you to enjoy the bingsu! When I went my first time I was with 3 other friends. We got our own cruncheese then shared 2 different bingsus. I can eat my own bingsu bowl by myself as long as I eat that before any other food.

This was not cheap for a bowl of snow but it sure was fun and tasty. The portion is quite large and the favor and texture were unique. One bowl was enough for three kids.

The best food I've ever had in my life! I've been dreaming about the Melon Shaved Ice for over a month now. I didn't know Melon or shaved ice could taste this good!

4/13/24: we have a long walking and decide to stop by snowbing and we thought it small size but it is big one size. Chuckling. But it so so so so good and love flavor and how they decorate the dessert. HIGHLY RECOMMEND stop by!

been here a few times and i lovelovelove the bingsu. one key thing when ordering the ones with fruit toppings is to get them when they’re in season. i’ve had the strawberry, mango, and the limited melon flavors and all were delicious. i noticed the first two the flavors don’t penetrate deep into the ice which kind of stinks but the texture and toppings make it fun to eat. the whole serving of the melon bingsu tasted like honeydew which had me pleasantly surprised. yummy yummy

Amazing ice cream ! What I liked about this place is that the shaved ice cream is so freaking refreshing and delicious! is just the right sweetness that makes you want more! We order the one with strawberries and they were pretty good! One bowl is big enough to share! I can’t wait to try all the flavors !

We ordered the strawberry cheesecake one. The bowls are HUGE!! Easily sharable with 3 - 5 people. They use milk for the shaved ice and top it off with whatever toppings you chose. It's super delicious and worth it. My niece loved it. Only thing is, they have limited seating once it starts to get busy.P.S. They are in the same suite as Cruncheese.
