Tinnies Tavern at Pappelbusch Campground

Three of us came in on the pontoon. We were looking forward to trying food from
their new menu! We had been here before. It hasn’t been our favorite place but we really want a bar/restaurant on the lake. We want to support them.

It. Was. Awful. It took 40 minutes to get one burrito. The server was confused that we hadn’t yet received the other meals. She was the one who took our order. She didn’t bring napkins or silverware and didn’t ask if we wanted more drinks. We assumed she would be right back with the other two meals and the silverware. Ten minutes passed. Nothing. Another person in our party went inside to grab napkins and silverware. They could have skipped the trip. The chicken in the burrito was dry. Some looked like sawdust and the other pieces were translucent and were so hard I couldn’t chew it. The burrito was cold. The other two in my party still hadn’t gotten their food. They went inside to cancel the order. At that moment, our server was going to other tables asking if they ordered a taco. She realized it was ours. She said, “Oh, here.” We reminded her we had two, told her we no longer wanted them and to just charge us for what we had, although we shouldn’t have even done that. They brought out the other taco. Not wanting to make a scene, the other two in my party paid the bill, grabbed their baskets and came outside to eat by me. They each took a bite and got wide eyes. The tacos were cold and one of the orders smelled rotten. It was unbelievable. We left. I have never left a negative review but this was terrible.

What a fantastic spot on Rice Lake! I spent no less than 7 hours here one Saturday watching Zack and his team handle a busy afternoon with excellent customer service and great vibes behind it.
We had three meals included two of their delicious pizzas that are made to order and set the bar high for a quality pie. The brisket tacos are delicious and there's elk available. At one point I thought I was dreaming.
The marina has plenty of dock space and there is a sand beach area available as well. You can access this wonderful spot from Koronis if you travel through the northern channel out of it into Rice
So impressed with everything about this place. It would serve them well to keep ample merch on hand because it's very on point and we'll branded. You can always see my Tinnies 😜

Serves unique pizza with elk meat. Foods really good. Bar is just steps from the lake, with a great view of the water especially when you're sitting at the bar!!

A wonderful Rice Lake amenity with an awesome new dock with plenty of boat parking, and a great lake view! Zach, the owner, very nice and friendly. The hand made pizzas are great also!

Great dock should you decide to boat there. Fun and freindly staff. If you are looking for a hidden gem with a view of the lake this is it. Nothing fancy just great kind people creating a fun atmosphere.

Cute little pub on Rice Lake. Menu consists of pizzas and nachos. You can tell they put a lot of love into the food, great place to swing in and take a break from the sun and fun.
