It has been my experience that the food quality you get can vary quite a bit from location to location. The Elk River location has been my most visited location and probably the most consistent food-wise as well.

*update as of 4/1/25 This location and Chipotle in general is not what it used to be. My order today was 20 minutes past when the app said it was "ready on the shelf" (4:10pm, got my two item order at 4:30pm), yet there was no line in the store and many people were working. Not a single employee inquired about why several of us were standing near the front. Once my order was finally done I had to go back in for missing dressing and the barbacoa in the burrito was dry and burnt. I did send in an inquiry to support as well and will post the results. This is a single example, but definitely not the only issue we have had, instead, it is only one I have taken action on .

I will never eat at this Chipotle in Elk River. So dirty and gross. Why aren’t this employees not cleaning up and replacing the food. Health inspectors need to come to this location asap. Don’t eat here. Unless you want to get sick.

After several visits I've had the same experience everytime. Small scoops. Asking for extra barely gets you the normal, extremely slow and I think this was my favorite. They were out of the new honey chicken tonight but they were also out of regular chicken. Im pretty sure the kitchen decided to clean up early and didn't want to make anymore.

Worst location I’ve ever been to, multiple orders completely wrong, ordered a bowl with no sour cream, it came with sour cream, another order came without any protein in any meal we ordered! Highly recommend getting from a different location!

I love Chipotle burritos many times I have gone in and they are out of an item I want one server scraped the walls of the rice pan they was scraping the hardened rice out of the pan into my burrito when there was a new fresh pan behind them my burrito had hard rice in it not very pleasant to eat burrito is not supposed to be crunchy. The tables were all dirty from previous customers meaning they were not getting wiped down between customers.

Extremely disappointed to get home with my order I had to wait 15 minutes past the time my order was supposed to be ready. I got there at the time my order was supposed to be ready come to find out they didn’t even see my order. I waited no problem. I got home and see that there is no chicken on my chicken quesadilla- there was hardly cheese.

I have eaten at Chipotle at multiple cities (and always felt happy while leaving) but the experience at Elk River was a bad one. The food was flavor less, tasteless, cold and portion sizes was so less. Chicken wasn't grilled well and the cut size was so small that didn't get the feel of eating chicken. Service was average and billing person didn't know how to charge a gift card, ended up using a credit card after 5 minutes of exploring. Overall a disappointing experience.

If I could give a 0, I honestly would. This place is bad and I mean, consistently bad. They always run out of things for bowls/burritos as well as chips and this has been happening for years now. I try to give them a second chance each time I go but it hasn’t changed. Its unclean and half the time it looks like the workers that aren’t on the line are just hanging out by the grills not actively doing anything. Surprised to see they’re still up and running.

Had an online pickup order, why is the fountain cup inside the bag that's taped up? That doesn't make sense. My total was over $30, there was no service. The order wasn't ready until 15 minutes after the pickup time, people had to ask for their food and all of the sudden several orders were ready at the same time.. Feels pretty audacious of the app to ask for a tip starting at 10% when there was no service. This was a weird dining experience and I hope it gets better. 😅

How do you know when to drive the extra 10 minutes to Roger’s Chipotle? You ask for pico de gallo on your chicken bowl and get the red hot sauce and you tell them that’s not what you asked for and the worker says “it’s not that hot you’ll be fine.” And refuses to make you a new bowl, that’s how you know.

Love paying for food that I won’t eat. Waste of my money and time.

These people messed up my DoorDash order by not putting the meat. How could you forgot the main part of my burrito. Then I went back to go get it fixed and they didn’t even put all the stuff inside of my order I had originally gotten. They need to pay attention to how they are making their food and carefully read the ticket. I am very mad and disappointed because I really was excited to try this new honey chipotle flavor. And also this store was dirty as hell. Seriously do better
