Best coffee shop hands down. I don't think I have ever been to a café where the employees know not only the names of all their regular customers, but also their entire family. Even if they don't know you, they still treat you like you are a long lost friend. If you are anything but happy, just walk in here and within five minutes you'll feel like everything is right with the world. Oh, and the coffee is great, food is amazing. I recommend any of the breakfast items or the grilled cheese sandwich.

Staff was absolutely amazing; answered all my questions about gluten and made sure to change gloves and take care with the food. One of the best experiences with being gluten free I have had!

Dunno bros is always a special treat when I come back to the Midwest. But the Elk River location stands out as being exceptional amongst them. The staff are nothing short of amazing, the food is not even compatible to other coffee shops it's restaurant quality, and the in-store roasted coffee is the best coffee I have had.
I drive 30 miles bypassing caribou and Starbucks to come here, and it is 100% worth the commute, this place is nothing short of amazing.

Great service
Fantastic visit to this location!! I'm from the Twin Cities and was in Elk River for work, and Layla (hope I spelled her name right) was the epitome of top-quality customer service!! So cheerful, so helpful, great smile, and kicked me out in absolutely the nicest way possible when I didn't realize that they closed at 5:00. 😆 Great job Layla and Dunn Brothers!!

This is an old-school coffeeshop, like in the 90s. The owners and staff are present... they will learn your drunk and remember your name. Everyone is greeted with a smile, and feeling welcome is a priority.

Always great staff and coffee here.
Stopped by this Dunn Brothers on the way to a rescue in Princeton. I didn't know what I wanted so I gave the person helping me a brief description of what I like and told her to make something yummy. Well she nailed it!!! Perfect amount of cream (oat milk) vs espresso (Americano) vs favor shots (coconut) to make sure it wasn't too sweet. It was actually perfect!
The main reason I'm posting this is to ask everyone to visit this location!! She said because of the construction and signage it's become harder to get people in. She was so kind and welcoming, and makes a great cup of Joe! Cheers to a yummy iced coffee ☕️

Kind of a weird vibe- it seems to be great for regulars, but not very newcomer friendly. My partner and I were here for the first time. We had no idea how ordering worked because we were deciding then suddenly being asked what we wanted by an employee ten feet away while there were people still physically in front of us. So the ordering process was a bit confusing, since it's not a standard "wait your turn then order at the register" situation, they just ask you once they've decided you've been looking at the menu long enough. I got a breakfast sandwich, excited that they have gluten free english muffins since I am highly gluten intolerant. When I ordered, the employee said "Do you care about cross contamination?", which was quite possibly one of the strangest things to have been said to me when ordering gluten free. Like obviously lol? Very very strange to not just assume you should keep things cross contamination free. The sandwich was also very bland. (The GF english muffin wasn't the best texture either but I don't think that's any fault of the shop or employees; it's a real hit or miss with gluten free breads.)
The drinks, however, were pretty good. I got an iced oat pumpkin latte and my partner got a caramelized almond latte, which was really really good.
Also, the employees didn't mind that we stayed quite a while, which I appreciated.
If you come here, I'd definitely recommend getting the caramelized almond latte. Just be aware how the ordering process works and you should be set.
