Dear Speedway Management,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Elk River location at 17079 Yale Street NW on the morning of 08/28/2025 @8:09am.
When I went in to get a coffee, I discovered that there was no half-and-half available. I asked the cashier about it, and her response was quite rude and dismissive. She told me to just look elsewhere and didn’t offer any assistance or alternatives. Additionally, when I asked if I could dispose of the coffee since I couldn’t drink it, she simply said, “Sure,” without any apology or offer to make it right.
To add to this, the same cashier, who I believe is the store manager, failed to ID the customer before me when they purchased cigarettes, which raises concerns about the store’s policies. When I checked out, the manager made a comment that I would be charged next time for a similar situation, which was not only unnecessary but also quite discouraging.
I have been a loyal customer, and this experience was extremely disappointing. I hope you will address this issue with the store manager and ensure that your staff provides better service in the future.

The older gentleman that works there is a Great guy! I got an order thru Uber I had to pick up and although they were closed for over an hr and I had no idea cause I just got the order 5 mins b4 I got there and he waited for me to pick it up and it's like 11: 30pm. I pulled in thinking there closed which they were but low and behold he opens the doors and hands me the order! What a Great worker! I was so thankful he waited for me!!! That guy should get a raise!!! He is Always so nice when I go there any other time!!!

I just left this place where I attempted to buy a redbull with $4 in quarters. The cashier told me that he wouldn’t take my quarters because “he already had quarters in his drawer”. I was confused and told him okay…… so you’re not going to let me buy my redbull and he said “nope”. So, I left and called to speak to the manager where Glenn the assistant manager tried to gaslight me and tell me that I was not there because “he didn’t see anyone at the counter” when he walked in. After, I described him and the cashier to him he reluctantly agreed that I was there. Glenn could not give me an answer as to why his cashier wouldn’t take my $4 in quarters and admitted that speedway does not have a policy stating that you can’t pay with $4 in quarters.
TLDR; don’t go here cashiers are unable to count out any change because I guess that’s hard?

Giving 1 star review because I applied then got interview to only to be told they hired someone else. Here I am now like 2 week later go in for cash app reload and low and behold they are hiring for 3 shifts. If it's because I WAS HOMELESS and has a bad back I'm going to be looking into talking to an attorney on Monday. Here a person WANTING to work to be tossed away!

When a strange person comes up to with a gas can and does not speak English what comes to my mind is this person wants free gas, so I simply respond with a no, once this individual makes it known to me he has prepaid at that pump I simply say ok and move to another pump, I then go inside and the clerk snaps at me saying he sent that person to the pump before I pulled up, I retort OK, the clerk then tells me that I have no right to talk to or treat people like that! I said what are you talking about I said ok and moved pumps how dare you speak to me a customer like that, the clerk (Robert) a slim clearly non educated moron tells me he doesn't care what I have to say. Not my first bad incident with staff there.

Don’t have your Google profile say you’re open 24 hours if you’re not. Also very upset with car wash screen allowing me to pay for a deluxe car wash but not allowing me to choose a touch free service. After speaking with a manager and them telling me I can’t get a refund or in store credit I’m down 12 bucks. Massive let down.
Older man who works there all the time is pretty nice but he stares at you the whole time. Literally stares. Watching your every move. At the check out system they just got, he watched me the entire time. I should have just let him check me out to ease his mind. I had to stop coming to this store cuz I feel so uncomfortable.
