Unfortunately not as good as it was. Over the past year or so, the food just does not seem the same. The taste and look, to me, has changed. They definitely need to do something with the kitchen ventilation, you can smell the deep fryers from the front door before waking in, and the inside is extremely kitchen grease food smell. Granted this establishment is small, but no tavern that serves food should smell like a greasy spoon in the bar area. I've only lived in the area...
Love the food , the staff is always very knowledgeable of menu , and polite ,Always great service , never a mistake on any order , everything is tasty and hot , and brought to our table right on time ,Family has travled over 1 hour1 way just to come and eat here ,In addition to this during the summer and much warmer weather they also have patio side dining under the sunlight and under the starlight ,
great little bar. they were so nice to me.
just finished the MN Abate Pasport Book and this was my last stop.
