Great place to go anytime! We usually go for lunch. Not your "regular bar food" ... has a uniqueness about the flavors and texture of the food, which enhances the whole experience. Need to go back there soon!

Had the Walleye fingers ...came in a shore lunch type coating. .well cooked not over ...bar was busy ... especially with pull tabs..so things took a bit...but friendly service...

When we first arrived the back room was open with people sitting in it so we sat down as it was a little more quiet without the band playing back there but we were told we had to move to the other room in a snarky way. In the other room there were tables but none clean so we asked if they could wipe one off and were told someone will get to it by the same snarky manner. Not very welcoming. With the band it was loud and it was hard to even talk. But the food was excellent and arrived at the table hot and extremely fast!!

Got there at 4:05 on a Saturday for the prime rib special. Not a seat or table was open. Asked the waitress if we could sit in one of the two back rooms. She just said no and moved on. Maybe a staffing problem. Also, if you plan on talking in there forget it. It was noisier than a disco in there. Ended up going to Andy's.

The pickled loon saloon is really a fun place! The food is good and the service is excellent! Servers are friendly. If they could just do something about the noise level! The acoustics are terrible. It's very difficult to hear in this restaurant.
