New to the area and found this quaint little bar restaurant about 5 miles from us. The service was good as we were the only ones there at about 2 in the afternoon on a Sunday. Basic fare, burgers and sandwiches. Fries were the mini French cuts, would have preferred larger fries. They did custom order a sandwich for us as my significant other is vegetarian. Only open from 11-8 PM. They definitely could do a landslide if they opened earlier for breakfast. All in all a nice experience....
Great food, not sure if server was new but she didn't know the specials well or the menu. She was rather short and not very friendly. Would still recommend them, maybe she was having a bad day.
We were in the lake country so decided to go to the old school for a meal.. Special for the day was deep fried perch,,,all you can eat! WOW, what a deal!!! So we both ordered the special.. It was very good and there was plenty of it the 1st time around.. Seating was kinda different.. Dividers between tables..probly from covid days days.. But it does give more individual seating in a small room.. Remember that it was an old country school at one time.. When in the area give them...
