Great family owned place with a hearty all day breakfast. Traditional American cafe food and the cinnamon rolls were awesome.

This was completely bizarre. It kind of felt like an episode of the Twilight Zone.. like stepping back in time to around the 1960s, but not in a nostalgic way.

I tried the "belgian" waffle. It wasn't a Belgian waffle, and it came out way too fast for the cooking time required. It was (or tasted like) a toasted frozen waffle square, served on a small sauce plate with canned strawberry mush from dollar tree with some canned whip cream, $6.

My 5 year old grandson can do better, and I would give him a dollar for the effort.

After seeing the largest pike we got real hungry. Lucky for us this spot was right up the street. Friendly services, good food, and prices. Don't forget to get a slice of their homemade pie.

Parking: Lots of neat shops nearby the historic downtown

Kid-friendliness: Stop and get some ice cream with your kids.

Poor service: cold food: rude server! The waitress was rude , in a hurry to rush us out of there. The waitress brought us our ticket soon as she served us our food..the fries were barely warm.... I was going to get desert but decided not to after this action. She didn't ask us if we needed anything else, we had to ask call her over on 2 different occasions just to get a drink and before I could ask for a straw she just turned away... Plus there was no other costumers so it's not like she was busy! I really wanted to taste their homemade pies! Bummer ?
-Update: 12/2023: service was extremely friendly this time around, food was despicable, I mean potatoes tasted like they'd been fried in fish oil. Eggs were so dry, hard, and cold.. but worse of all. The dishes were still dirty. My daughter's cup had lipstick on it! Food particles in the water cups and floaties in my coffee! We had to sift through plates just to find a clean one from the buffet line. I love the waitress but the food has definitely not improved. It's sad to see such little effort ?.
