It was my first time there the chicken was very good just enough salt and crunch the service was slow but they were very busy when we arrived but after the initial supper Rush it quieted I also ordered the Carl's Pizza it was very good the salad was simple but it was very good I found myself eating all of it! There was 2 kids and 5 adults and it came in at 140 for all of us!!

We stopped in last night with a group of 10 from a bachelor party. The place looked busy from outside and it was pretty busy once we went in. No problem here’s a table. The waitress came over within a minute of us sitting down. We never had empty drinks. The food was very quick and delicious. Awesome place!!

Great food, great prices on both food and drink, great staff…a “diamond in the rough” in Essig, MN. Oh, and be sure to have the 1919 Root Beer. It is the best!
Service was truly exceptional, and the broasted chicken was amazing! Loaded American fries with nacho cheese, cooked mushrooms, green peppers, and fried onions were something you don't see elsewhere.

Still the best chicken around and always friendly workers even though I know I don’t look like most of the customers coming through. They are always great, always pleasant, place is always clean. And the place is rly old school classy. Not many establishments left like this one. Highly recommended by me.
