Nice little bar and grill off the beaten path. Good pizza. Good drinks. Great ending to a day of hunting, fishing, hiking, or whatever. Service was great.

Something is very shady when the bill comes and in large print is the amount if paid by credit card, and in small print is the cash price. How many people who pay by cash even read the small print? Besides that, the price charged for credit card is higher than the charge the business pays the card companies. Won't be back !

We were there on a Saturday evening for dinner. Half a rack of ribs, baked potato and a salad. Very reasonably priced, fall off the bone meat and whatever they use for BBQ sauce was really good. Service was a little slow, but not outrageous, they were busy.

I stopped for a burger at lunch. Good food and friendly place that seems like it would be a lot of fun for drinks.

Amazing place workers are so amazing and so kind. Never a disappoint when I go to melby. Guys their mozzarella sticks are to die for. Also for the gift certificate thing there’s signs on the front door and by the bar! Nobody should’ve been confused!! Love this place to death!! 100% recommend.

We ate dinner at Melby Outpost on Friday, June 27th. The food was good, and the service was excellent. When we approached the bar area to pay our bill, we presented a $25.00 Alexandria Big Deals Melby Outpost certificate (purchased April 14, 2025) plus cash for the remainder of the bill. We were promptly advised that the owner no longer accepts the Melby Outpost certificates. We proceeded to pay the bill using cash only and requested that the owner contact us. After a few days passed with no call from the owner, we reached out to the Outpost again and were able to speak with the owner. She confirmed that she had recently stopped accepting the Melby Outpost certificates. When asked if she had posted a notice (Echo Press, website, Facebook page, other social media, etc.) regarding this, she said she had not. When we mentioned that we felt the public should have been aware that this change would be upcoming and that we were not pleased that we had, in essence, been required to pay for a portion of our meal twice, she began raising her voice and subsequently disconnected the call. While the experience itself was disappointing, the owner’s subsequent actions were even more disappointing. Fortunately, KXRA radio responded to the issue in a very professional way and credited our account for the money we had lost. We thought that diners should be aware of this as they make their decisions on where to spend their hard-earned dining dollars.
