Used to come here all the time. My last time was eight years ago so it was like a trip down memory lane. I'd say your best bet for great food is between 12-2pm, as the food is always fresh and they are busy. I came at 3pm, and the restaurant was empty. The food was dry, overcooked under the heat lamps and some spots were nearly empty for what looked like at least an hour. Even the ice cream amd jello were disappointing. I got here on a Fri evening 5:30. A decent crowd, all items were at a sufficient level for a buffet, and everything hot. I will agree that $20 for buffet is pricey, and for that I would probably not go back.
To the kid that saw a cockroach. If you saw a cockroach in your own kitchen, would you not ever eat there again? Most likely would have killed it and not cleaned much. Did you tell anyone there about it so they could deal with the situation?

15 minutes after sitting down the employees began mopping the place with bleach water so strong it was hard to breathe and to ensure everyone left quickly they began clanging pots and pans so loudly it was impossible to enjoy my dinner. The food was delicious but an establishment should not charge full price for a 15 minute buffet.
