Server was hospitable at best, Brisket was fatty and not tender at all. Potatoes were ice cold, new ones were said to be coming, never did. Had to find our server for drink refills. Very

Very delicious. My partner and I got the fried pickle rolls which were the best. We both ordered the pick 2 for 32 bucks. I got the brisket and ribs with beans and mashed potatoes. I disliked the beans as it was a bbq soup with a few beans. I had it switched out with dirty rice. The potatoes were good. Ribs great. But the brisket was dry. My partner got the ribs and smoked chicken with dirty rice and brussels. The brussels were delicious( my partner let me try one) the dirty rice was good. The smoked chicken was the best meat of the night. We both enjoyed the ribs. A lot of food, we ended up taking half of it home. I recommend it. Our waitress was unfortunately below average in hospitality. Give this place a try.

I’ll preface this with that fact that my wife and I dine out 3 to 4 times per month at a variety of restaurants, and I have never been compelled to write a negative review, at least not until tonight. To begin, we were seated in the outdoor patio. (The outside temp. was 32 degrees) A dingy, cold area with black plastic on the inside walls and aged clear plastic on the outside wall. The table had a gas fire in the middle that gave off so much heat it warmed the wine and water glasses. In addition, the area of the table available to place dishes and glasses was very small and annoyingly uneven. Once the overhead heater kicked-in, water condensation dripped onto the table and into my wife’s water glass. Now on to the outrageously overpriced and mediocre food. I’ll begin with the $28 “fourteen hour smoked brisket”. It reminded me of grandma’s pot roast that was left far too long in the oven and was now offered as a reheated leftover. It had NO hint of a smoked flavor. NONE! It was stringy and dry and one half of the serving was literally greasy fat and congealed blood. No condiments were offered, nor available on the table. No BBQ sauces, no salt or pepper, no butter for the dry cornbread or bland mashed potatoes, no honey or a type of syrup for the cornbread. The Brussel sprouts were okay, but honestly, I’ve had better. $14 was charged for a very average glass of Cabernet.Yes, the inside of the bar and restaurant looks very appealing, and maybe the patio is a nice spot in the summer. However, the “smokehouse” component of the BB leaves much to be desired. I have no problem spending $100+ at a restaurant that offers quality food. For me, the Bourbon Butcher truly fell short tonight.

Mediocre and slightly disappointed. Food came out barely warm. It also was slightly above what I would consider an Applebee's presentation and quality but yet the prices not reflecting the same. Should have paid a bit less.Food took 40 minutes to arrive at our table, drinks were okay, I've been here when the restaurant was newer and felt that they have let this slide. My opinion the restrooms need attention and so does the operation of the restaurant.Yes, I'd go again. If the company was right, my family or friends invited me. I'd go for that but not for the food and beverage experience.

I’ve been going here for years, my so and I recently had the walleye special and it was perfection. Going to dinner at night definitely lets the place light up the atmosphere and the staff has been most excellent, we all love this place.

I met a friend here for mid day on a Saturday. The atmosphere was great. Loved the wait staff. Food was fresh, flavorful, perfect serving sizes, and a good price. I didn't try any of the bourbon, and the choices were abundant. Bourbon from every corner of the earth, it seems. I would definitely recommend this be on your list of places to eat.

Came here for a Sunday brunch with the family. Not loud, very chill atmosphere. Booth at front of restaurant will sit 4 adults but the table is a bit small to cram everything in, I'd recommend a table instead if you want more space. The Perfect Bloody Mary is top notch (did mine with Gin) and it comes with a bottle of High Life as a chaser! Cheese curds are hand breaded and a top 15 in the Twin Cities (we try them everywhere we go, so that's a big deal)!Food was amazing! BRisket and Gravy was a fun twist on a classic...delicious! Breakfast burrito was a bit greasy but very tasty! Our daughter LOVED the French Toast as well :) 5 stars!!Ps- this restaurant opens up to the Brew Hall next door if you want other beers!

Waitress lacks in customer service, didnt ask how our food was, most of the time she wasn't anywhere, food wasn't all that, it took 20 min for a pot of coffee each time we asked for a refill, didn't enjoy my pulled pork or lack of? or texas toast as a bun, not getting a good tip from us, doubt we'll returnParking: Free water, free handicap parkingWaitress lKept pushing us to pay our tabs, though there were no people waiting for tables, $3 xx for pop

5/5 visits impeccable service.Love the low key vibeFantastic ribeye, Fantastic juicy angus burgers, best pulled pork Nacho's I've ever had. They are on another level.Service is just absolutely perfect. You've always sat in the bar area and those dudes are all amazing. I also like the verbal tip IPA.I do have to knock the "tacos". It was the first food item I ever ordered from here and I must say I felt scammed, and it was even the happy hour price. You just can't put a little piece of pulled pork on a piece of cornbread and call that a taco. Sorry. I recommend removing that item from the menu. Honestly after having that I wanted to leave the restaurant and not even try anything else. Assuming it was just insanely overpriced for nothing good. So happy to say we did try it more food and everything else is amazing that we have tried!!They have a new card where you can get 10% off each meal now!
