We couldn’t have asked for a better baker for our wedding! Our cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious and beautifully made—every detail was perfect. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she is also such a genuinely sweet person who made the entire process so enjoyable. She truly puts her heart into her work, and it shows. Messages Penney two days before my sons birthday party and she was responsive and made delicious “mini cupcakes” that worked perfect! There are probably twice the cost of generic Walmart cupcakes but taste 5X better! If you’re needing cupcakes Peney is your specialist!

I wanted a special treat for the staff at Lake Region Hospital on my (and another travel nurse's) last day. After looking up local bakeries, I found the website for Peney Cakes. After reading the glowing reviews as well as her story on her site, I knew I had to order from her!! I ordered a dozen almond cupcakes with almond frosting as well as a dozen from the flavor of the week combination which ended up being Monster Cookie and what I hear was cookie batter. I myself tried the monster cookie and almond flavors - everyone raved about these cupcakes, and I am in full agreement! They were perfect, not too sweet, and not dry. I will order again when I am in the area!
