My husband and I came here for lunch on Saturday. We were immediately greeted warmly. Our server Bev made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. We each got one of the entree sandwiches, my husband got one of the specials offered. He felt like the sandwich could have had more fish on it but overall thought it was good. One of the landmark restaurants on/near the north shore. It's worth a trip into the woods for a visit alone. The food is alright, the service is good, and the beer is great. It's a winter oasis as it is halfway up the snowmobile trail between Silver Bay and Grand Marais, but it's worth a visit any time of the year.
