The manager "Maria" was very unhelpful and did not let my son pick up our order even though he had the code. She apparently thought he was trying to steal the food. There was nothing that said you needed to be logged into the app at the store to be able to pick up the food. And we have always done it this way. At least 100 times no issue. Maria told me about how it's happened only a few times at a few locations and had something to do with IT that she didn't understand. Well what I don't understand is how Maria is a manager at all. I hope she has the day she deserves.

Dear Maria General Manager I dont like how Shakeem night shift are led. Bad customer service and bad professionalism. Lack of please and thank you. And I dont like how i get treated. Also Yoshi lack of basic respect, please and thank you, pleasantries make me not want to go there. Food is good. Again Shakeems team based on a few observations lack of friendliness, hospitality, customer service, professionalism makes me want to eat at another mcdonalds I can rely on mcdonalds silver lake new brighton for a predictable good time. Yours I cannot. At this particular location, I had the help of an employee who worked there. He helped me navigate the new ordering system. He advised me, he wasn’t supposed to, only to stay in but, graciously did. I appreciated the help but brought about the question, ‘what if he didn’t?’ I’d probably have become frustrated and left.
I have to frown on a company as large of a franchise as this, who do not understand the value of the worker who assisted me that intends to take away another job and customer experience. I have seen other’s are now joining the band wagon. I fail to see how this effort saves any business from complete ruin. I have left 2 of these establishments in a week, because I could not get what I used to, having a living breathing human being! Gone are the days of good old fashion customer service, with the human touch! It’s sad.
