I was there tonight, Gina was my server. She gave excellent service! Went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my meal. Plus the manager also checked in with us. I had lobster and shrimp linguine and my boyfriend had jerk platter, both were delicious!
This was our second time visiting this wonderful restaurant, with many years in between. Last time we came, it was in January 2019 during a bitterly cold winter. We were heading to Giant's Ridge to snowshoe. Coming from Hudson, WI, I had googled places to eat near there. The Whistling Bird came up. It was so appealing to enter a Caribbean themed bar and restaurant when you are feeling most despondent about the temps. Fast forward 5 years, and this time we were heading...
I have heard about this place for years. In such a tiny town, people would allegedly come up from the twin cities just to eat here. Whether that's legend or truth, I can attest that the food was 100% worth the drive. Absolutely mouth-wateringly delicious. If you ever have the opportunity, I suggest you stop in for a taste.
