Staff is usually nice and polite, but half the staff needs to dress better and wear clean clothes. I don't want to receive food from someone who looks like they haven't showered, nor washed their clothes for a week. 🤔🤢

This is a really a nice Dairy Queen with a small-town feel. The updates and other changes over the past year or so are a nice improvement. I appreciate the service. They always make me smile!

Would not recommend Dairy Queen in glencoe at all!! The owner of the establishment does not know how to handle any situation. From being shorted on my order, to literally dissecting my burgers on the customer counter, throwing my burger, arguing with me, and touching raw meat and handling cooked food without any sanitation at all. I would highly suggest the owner makes things right before i call the Minnesota department of Health and contact the international dairy queen inc. However I will say to the two girls in the front taking orders and making blizzards they were very apologetic. They told me they wish they could make things right with me but unfortunately the cook today was their boss/owner and it is out of their hands.

UPDATE! I brought back my 3 horrible treats, explained what happened, showed my receipt. They apologized, remade all 3 of them & thanked me for coming in & speaking with them & bringing back the Misty's as well. Im glad i did what I did. The service, employees & food was way better.
While I stand here waiting for my order, I watch customer after customer walk in the door. There are 5 employees working. 1 cooking, 1 cleaning, 1 making ice cream treats, 1 cashier, & 1 doing IDK ?♀️.
It took almost 30 minutes to get 4 misty freezes. The cashier doesn't stop to help make orders, neither does the cleaner, or the guy doing IDK. So, orders keep piling up. People start to leave as they realize how packed the place is.
As I'm watching this mess unfold into more of a mess. The employees put cleaning buckets on the counter where they are putting customers' orders. This includes trays of food, bags of food, & ice cream. This continues for almost the entire 30 minutes that I am standing there. Finally, the IDK guy comes & grabs the buckets & takes them off the counter. Just about the time I get my order, which has ice cream & syrup all over the place. I asked for a cup holder to put them all in & napkins so I could clean up the mess myself. All I got was the cup holder.
Not a single employee apologizes for the long wait, the mess, or even bothers to say thank you. I didn't even hear one employee say thank you to a single customer. And after all of that, only 1 out of the 4 misty freezes I bought actually tasted good. All the other 3 were tart, & just awful.
This place is AMAZING!!! This was my first visit to this location. The staff was kind and my blizzard was well made. I don't know the last time I've had a well mixed blizzard (there is always an inch or more of vanilla icecream on the bottom from poor mixing) and my blizzard from this location was 100% fully mixed!! Absolutely impressed and can't wait to return.

Watched one worker wipe her nose then proceed to make handle food without washing her hands. Then she changed the trash, refilled the spoons and condiments and handled more food all without washing her hands. The cashier then handled cash and proceeded to make cream cones without washing her hands. It also took 15+ minutes to get my order made. I definitely would not reckoned this place to anyone! I’m never going back!
