I arrived around 10:50AM and stood at the counter for about 4-5 minutes while the seven people in back stood around chatting, not noticing me. When I was finally helped, they were out of dark roast coffee(?!?!) It then took another five minutes to make a decaf cappuccino - it would've taken less time but the employee was still busy continuing conversations with the other six people who had now emerged from the back. Ridiculously slow, inattentive, poor service. I WON'T be back. P.S.- in the 5 minutes I waited, no other employee started brewing the dark roast that was empty.

This is a phenomenal business! If you’re not already located in Glencoe, this place is 100% worth the drive. You are immediately greeted and welcomed into this lovely family owned establishment. I got the pleasure of being helped by Isabel two days in a row. The first night we went there to try their flatbread 6/5. It was so good and broke the barrier. It was absolutely delicious, flavorful, and unique. We went back the next morning to try the coffee and smoothie beverages. This business again hit it out of the park. The drinks for blended to perfection, and made so well. You can really taste the difference between getting your morning coffee/desserts here versus chains like Starbucks and Caribou. They are also pet friendly so I was able to bring my babies with me who got pup cups! They are connected to a store that is also under them. This store sells freeze dried candy so we will definitely be back for not only drinks and flat bread but for some freeze dried candy. We also got a cinnamon roll, and it tasted like heaven. It was the perfect combination and it was not overly sweet which I highly prefer as most places overglaze the cinnamon rolls, and I can feel the sugar in my teeth. Not here, they are perfect and ready to eat without scooping glaze off! The service was top tier and they are worth the stop!

Fabulous coffee shop! I am biased, old friends own the shop, but it truly is REALLY good. The pastries are made in house, my London Fog (aka Royal Warm-Up) was great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Today I ran into a number of old friends too!
