Frankly, the new owner doesn't seem like he is cut out for the service industry, and over the many times i have been there this year, not one bar tender has been very good at all. A very sad decline over the service in previous years.
The village is a great local hangout! It’s perfect for late night drinks, but they also have amazing burgers for lunch. I hear good things about their breakfast as well, but I have yet to get out of bed early enough to enjoy it 😜
The best homemade pizza in Glenwood is at The Village. A hometown atmosphere, friendly bartenders & great food & drink specials make this an excellent place to spend an evening out. The Village used to be a very popular place & had a good crowd on weekends, it's been a long time since it was very busy, sometimes it's do dead the bartender is the only person there. I'd like to see something done to try to attract the customers back that have been lost.
