Chipotle Mexican Grill

After 16 years i don't feel comfortable letting people dine here without a warning. (I am also a local in Golden valley who's been going to this location for about 16 yrs)

My second to last time coming to this location. My carnitas bowl had a hair in it. To add insult to injury the bag of chips I had were both crushed. AND SOOOOOGGGY!!! I came at about 2:30 PM. With no rush at all

My most recent visit was during a rush the store manager appeared to be burrito 1&2 and salsa's 1&2 first red light under staffed and manager over worked. Second red light gelatinous quesso dip *sweats* chips weren't bagged when new batch was made instead it was stuck in a huge pan and on order was bagged. This I ordered a carnitas bowl and a carne asada bowl. Both were vastly low portioned (1/3 the bowl) the carne asada was vastly caked in seasoning(SKIP THE HOT SAUCE.) whole interaction while ordering felt like incompetent and just rushed. And yes it was during the dinner rush but don't take it out on the customer. Also there was a massive lack of communication between servers and cooks. No warnings about when things were getting low. It felt more like a zoo.

I thought I could justify what has happened but at this point I've just about had it. It's sad to see 16 yrs of joy at this location and I don't think I have it in me to return I think I'll go to a different Chipotle a little further away. This is a changed Chipotle from what I remember when I was younger. (I've had to think now about 3 revisions to my review and I've decided I need to leave my honest true opinion.) Go to a Chipotle location that actually respects what it means to make a burrito/bowl. It sucks to see this location make so many clumsy mistakes. In my humble opinion I'm not sure there's a way to save this location. Despite the recent kitchen upgrades.

Edit: I want to say to those who are like what kitchen upgrades. I worked here when the heat guard above the grill crapped itself and turned the summer of like 16' into a oven of 98F. I sweated so intensely that year my hat was salt crested. And that was back when most burritos were like 7-8 dollars only.

Been to this location many times and no big issues. Some burritos a bit on the lean side, some on the thick side, but usually pretty consistent.

Corn was frozen and when asked for a remake, he served the same thing. Hate this location.

They add a lot of rice and lettuce and very little meat, beans, pico, etc. Also, if you order sides, they fill 1/2 container.They rush you and often don't pack everything ordered and paid for.

Check your bag when you leave. The amount of times I’ve paid for something here, go home to eat my food, and they’ve just not put stuff I ordered and paid for in the bag is insane. This location has done it the last 3 times I’ve been here.

Ordered catering for an event for work today and the driver was nice but when I opened the food to set it up alot of it leaked ALL over the place and from multiple items, it was extranly messy to set up. Also it is not worth it for how expensive it was. I was shocked at how little of food they provoded for their catering. I do not recommended their catering.

Chipotle never fails....to fail. The food is nasty. Often times handled with bare hands. The floors, counters, tables a d restroo.s are always dirty. I would not eat at any of these spots.

I ordered 2 burritos for delivery, but unfortunately this meal was colder than my ex's heart.

I don’t really rate my food or do any kind of review, but I found plastic in my burrito. This was disgusting as I almost swallowed it. I don’t really want to go back.

I stopped there many times there’s nothing to complain about. The food is ok. Tortilla chips is good. But the food is too heavy has nothing to do with healthy bowls. For me it’s nice to have it once in a while. 12$ for a chicken bowl with chips and fountain drink.

It's Chipotle, if they aren't loading your burrito up they are either short on food or c-suite is trying to please the shareholders, again...

I'm always impressed with the speed of service, as well as the quality of the food. Made to order, fresh ingredients- can't be beaten! My only complaint is that because of how good the food is, their restaurants tend to be loud and full of people.
