I'm Norwegian and have grown up eating lefse my whole life. We all have learned how to make from scratch. As a young person I was taught how to roll it out ever so thin. A little older I was taught the skill of cooking on the griddle. I must say Ms Olsons is the closest to our families home made lefse. God bless you all.

Mrs Olsen's lefsa is very tasty! As a professional caterer, the rectangular shape works perfectly for hors d'oeuvres. I had a special request for shipping so called after I had placed the order online. The customer service was a delightful surprise, and the order arrived with a hand written note. I wish they offered other items as well!

Bought my first package of Mrs Olson’s Lefse yesterday CUB Foods in Mpls MN USA a few blocks from my home. I have half Norwegian DNA & those ancestors come from Bergen. Potato Lefse was a staple at Christmas & other family gatherings in 1950s & 1960s at Grandma Berthas house! I appreciate the recyclable plastic bag container & the zip closure that works to keep other sheets fresh! I recommend this lefse!

My order arrived promptly yesterday. I had a couple of pieces with my morning tea and I was in heaven. The lefse was soft and moist, almost like right off the griddle. I recommend Mrs. Olsen’s to all my lefse loving friends. I made the mistake of ordering from another bakery in Southeastern Minnesota several years ago and it was so hard and dry we threw it out. Mrs. Olsen’s is the real deal!

I'm 100% Norwegian and have never had of or seen square lefse before. Both of my grandmothers made lefse, and I still do a couple times a year. I make it on the lefse griddle that's been in my family for over 100 years and brought over from Norway. When grocery shopping today, I spotted this product and decided to give it a try. My good friends, (both of whom are also full blooded Norwegian) and i had some of this lefse with supper and weren't very impressed. Tho product was thicker than any lefse we'd ever seen, while the texture and flavor seemed somewhat lacking. As a former chef and experienced lefse maker, I'd suggest that there seems to be a little to much flour in the recipe, and the griddle wasn't hot enough. The dough also needs to be rolled out thinner, and could use more butter as the product was a little dry as well.Good LuckJE
