It reminds me of a Fried Chicken restaurant for which my family would drive 45 minutes back when I was a kid. The chicken is delicious. Not fried but broasted(?) The only negative is that there's not much else to eat on the menu and the sides are unremarkable. It's a small town bar atmostphere which is OK.

I seen a post on FB last week stating they ordered a 1/4 white chicken meal, and half of their chicken wing was missing. Figured it was probably just a random broken wing. The comments were pretty funny though. So many uneducated people and chicken. Haha
Anyways, We ordered a 12 piece mixed chicken on Saturday night and sure enough we received 4 pieces that were wings. They were all missing half the piece! Please explain why they would take the drummy off of all the wings? This leaves barely any meat left, and considering that a piece of chicken is ridiculous. So we basically paid for 12 pcs, but only got 8. Probably won’t be ordering here anymore. Pretty sad.

We finally made it to Brass Rail after years of hearing about the delicious chicken. Cozy bar atmosphere and fast friendly service. The chicken was wonderful, moist and crispy. Perfect creamy coleslaw. The potatoes were disappointing, broasted slices were greasy, not crisp and the mashed potatoes were definitely instant. I think they serve regular fries, I will pick those next time. Full bar. Coke products. Easy parking behind the building.

We have been told to come to this restaurant for years! We finally decided to go. The service was bad. Waited for beer refills multiple times for 5+ minutes. The only reason we needed three beers was because it took over 1 hour and 20 minutes to get our food. At the hour and five minute mark, our waitress came over and told us that there was a printer problem and the kitchen never got our order… kind of think that if you haven’t gotten your food in 30 to 40 minutes, you should probably check and see about your tables order… anyways once our food finally came it was pretty disappointing, mashed potatoes were lukewarm, and chicken was very greasy. Broasted chicken is not supposed to be greasy! We did end up coping our meal, but not our beer. We will not be returning. We just said considering how many times people have told us to go.

I had to be in the area on some business, and went here on the recommendation of a friend. The chicken was everything that people rave about. The coleslaw that came with it, along with the mashed potatoes and gravy were extremely tasty. Excellent staff and the wait time was not too long considering this is fried chicken we're talking about. I absolutely 100% recommend this place
