I am from Alaska and my dad told me how much he liked the Frog Pond. When I was visiting, we decided to go there for dinner. I was not disappointed! The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious. I enjoyed the decor, especially the license plates on the ceiling. I highly you visit the Frog Pond!

It's NOT your typical bar food at ALL. It's made with LOVE.
The Philly is FIRE served on a multigrain or wheat toast, with just a tad bit of tasty grease seeping out mixed with tasty melted Swiss cheese, YUM. Perfect to dip your fries in. The sammich was way too big for me to eat all at once. But NOT complaining at all!
I also love the variety of fries they have. Regular. Curly. Seasoned sweet potato fries and more!
They also have Fresh made cheesecakes, different varieties. I had the hot chocolate & their carrot cake, again, YUM!
And a salad bar! Along with soups of the day & daily & nightly specials!.
The restaurant is also decorated uniquely and nice for a little bar & restaurant in a town of 61 people.
They even have a cute outside patio area to enjoy the gorgeous MN sunsets.
I'll definitely be back next week, thanks again Frog Pond!

I have been there a bunch of times, the food and service have very good, but my last visit the service was as good as ever but I ordered a hamburger steak, what i received was 2 hamburger patties stuck together and little on the tough side the rest of the meal was good.

Everything about this place was just awesome! We came up here to visit Lake Bronson and Old Mill State Parks and we stumbled upon this place and thought we'd give it a try and I'm glad we did! Their facebook said they weren't open on Saturdays but that must be needing some updating. I had the daddy paddy and curly fries and they were done to perfection!
Great local atmosphere. Good prices and good food. I had the prime rib special. Very tender and tasty.

I knocked one star on the food only because it was an average Reuben sandwich that I ordered. The ingredients were not balanced (way too much cheese) so I call that average. BUT I LOVED the atmosphere! Lots of antiques and a ceiling full of vehicle license plates add to creative surroundings. A large, round potato chip tin was a fun trip down memory lane, not to mention all the Halloween trimmings! The salad bar was great! I bought two jars of FABULOUS pickled beets. I also purchased a fun T-shirt. Go. Enjoy. Laugh!
