I knocked one star on the food only because it was an average Reuben sandwich that I ordered. The ingredients were not balanced (way too much cheese) so I call that average. BUT I LOVED the atmosphere! Lots of antiques and a ceiling full of vehicle license plates add to creative surroundings. A large, round potato chip tin was a fun trip down memory lane, not to mention all the Halloween trimmings! The salad bar was great! I bought two jars of FABULOUS pickled beets. I also purchased a fun T-shirt. Go. Enjoy. Laugh!

The atmosphere in this place is great. The staff and owners make you feel welcome, and at home. The food is fresh and filling. I noticed how very clean the bar and kitchen are right away. I could tell they take pride in their business.I saw the license plates on the ceiling and came back to contribute my Nebraska plates to the collection. Had a good conversation with the owner and his wife as well.I look forward to coming back soon.

We are in Halma Mn today. Just picking up some items we purchased on an line auction And, of course, we got here two hours early! So, we headed to the Frog Pond for lunch. What an amazing place! Cutest (and cleanest) little hometown bar/restaurant. Super nice menu. The food was so good and our waitress so helpful and fun! I couldn’t stop looking at the decor - it was fabulous. Since Halma is 100 miles from our home near Lengby we may not get back here again but it sure was fun. Thank you
